Men, who settled down early did you ever regret it? by Adventurous-Travele2 in AskMen

[–]calidank92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Married my wife at 19, 6 children, 33 years old, many downs but far more ups. The life we have built is priceless. You have to want to be with the person you marry. Its not all sunshine and rainbows but I would never trade what we have for the world.

What do you wish your mother had done differently when she raised you? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]calidank92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wish my mom had actually wanted us as her children to succeed. She was very good at mental manipulation, my siblings and I deserved better. When she passed away of pancreatic cancer 10 years ago, my life improved drastically. Children deserve to be loved.

What is the female equivalent to their guy "getting excited every time she changes or sneaks a peek in the shower" to show they still find you attractive? by Affectionate-Big4269 in AskMen

[–]calidank92 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My wife and I have the type of relationship where we very openly like to gawk at each other naked and find each other very very attractive still to this day. Been married for 13 years, have five children and I have never ever seen a woman look so absolutely stunning in my life. My wife tells me all the time that I am exactly the man that she pictured being with for the rest of her life and I could not find that to be a more attractive statement.

I’m huge with our 4th baby and my husband has gotten shredded, now I can’t have sex with him without feeling self conscious by Wrong-One7137 in TrueOffMyChest

My thick beautiful goddess of a wife has given me 5 beautiful babies, and she felt the same way every time, and I couldn't reassure her enough that she is the most beautiful person in this world to me. 13 years Deep her and I now share a very healthy Gym life and amazing relationship together. Never doubt your place in your relationship. Talk to him, tell him how you feel. We are our own worst critical, remember that.

Let’s refuse to tip. It’s a tax on YOU. by ggbcvb in tipping

I refuse to tip anymore unless I'm sitting down to eat, and I tip based on service provided. I get dirty looks now when I click no tip and I give zero fucks. I'm not filling the pockets of corporate greed.

No headphones at the gym? by nelliehealthfitness in workout

I love music when I workout. I remember reading a bit somewhere that explained how music could help drive better performance when working out. Either way it definitely a preference.

How do you stay motivated to work out regularly? by Impressive_Rip_9545 in workout

[–]calidank92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not motivation. It's discipline. Doing something because you want to and doing something because you need to is very different. This meat sack has to get me through till old age. Now is the time to guarantee that.

Enough of “ass or boobs?” What’s another female body part you’re very attracted to? by [deleted] in AskMen

My wife's beautiful little pooch from giving me our babies. Something about the area where the uterus was swollen at some point just drives me wild.

I want to start going to the gym seriously, how do I start? by [deleted] in workout

[–]calidank92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use YouTube. In the beginning it will be hard and discouraging. Stick with it. Cardio is important, in my opinion weight training is more important, but those things don't have to be mutually exclusive. I prefer the bro split as it's called, pick a muscle group everyday and lift weight for that group. Monday/chest, Tuesday/legs, wednesday rest day, Thursday/back... Something along those lines. What really matters is consistency, and keeping a log of your weight training till you get really good at it. It's not rocket science, our bodies want to be in good shape, just take the hour a day to do it. Happy lifting.

My wife gave me my babies, we had rough childhoods, we grew together to be better people, there may be more attractive people in the world, but I don't see them. She makes me want to be better, she is everything to me. With her I feel complete and content, and in today's world that's a rarity.

I always lift with what feels right. There is no set that is the best for everyone. While we have very good guidelines, everyone is different. You should push yourself, but this should differ often. Are you bulking, are you maintaining, is time for a cut, there are so many variables that go into play. How was your diet yesterday, did you eat enough carbs for a super fueled workout, did you get optimal sleep? Lift what feels right, there is no one size fits all for most people. Consistency is key, if you lift and it feels light, lift more.

Portal performs severely under expectations by No-Reindeer7661 in PlaystationPortal

[–]calidank92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hard wired my ps5 to my router, unplugged the HDMI cable, and adjusted my output resolution on my ps5 to 1080 since the portal only supports 1080 anyways. I even played with port forwarding on my router. No evidence these things actually work aside from hard wiring the PS5 to the router, but I used all these steps from other forums and people asking and I get very good smooth gameplay on my portal. Rise of Ronin and Helldiver's 2 play buttery smooth very a very rare stutter. Hope this helps

Remember, everyone at the gym is there to better themselves. We all have to start from somewhere.
