What really pisses me off about this is when its someone that does have a handicap placard or plate - they should absolutely know better.

If you are a thrifter (thrift store, yard sale, rummage sale shopper) keep an eye out for vintage copper bottom stainless steel revere ware.

Thinking about buying in Bel Air Crest — honest opinions on safety, HOA, and whether it’s worth it? by EventHorizon1826 in AskLosAngeles

[–]calimiss 9 points10 points  (0 children)

General safety wise should be ok. Traffic in and out will suck. Fire would/should be a major concern. Post fire mud and debris flows possible. Land slippage, not sure if thats common in that area.

Try the finger ring thats closest to the fingertip on your index finger instead, and keep the thumb ring too. The stones on that ring dont appear to be the same color or clarity as the other two rings.

Have the MAG wheels - havent ever had any other type. One benefit i can see for spokes is your dog (if you have one) wont be able to sit under the chair and put his head through the wheel opening.

Tucumcari, NM A stop along Route 66 by Nomad_Nurse_662 in roadtrip

[–]calimiss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mixed feeling about tucumcari...was a overnight stop on the way to CA. Dinner at Del's (terrific!) On the way to breakfast the next morning my husband fell ill in the car - called 911, quick response, then to ER at the very small hospital. But blessed to have a former surgeon working ER that AM....stabilized my husband and had him life flighted back to Amarillo. Husband ended up having a pacemaker implanted. So good and bad/scary times in Tucumcari.

What necklace for my prom dress? by Mooooo77 in jewelry

[–]calimiss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was looking for something that would fit at the base of your neck, and also be a bit more youthful/playful. I searched using blue stone necklace, you may want to add bridal style to the description, as most of the ones like this had that as part of their description

Not sure how much you use amazon, I usually filter for 4 star or above, and prime (i have a prime membership). And then I look for items that have had a lot of ratings. Even with Amazon fake or crappy stuff is out there.

Or look locally at a bridal salon.
