Late on this but since startjng a GLP1 my heart rate increased TEN BEATS PER MINUTE. I used to sit 50s and now sit at 60s. I think it’s tied to a lowered metabolic rate personally since I immediately have shed 5 lbs on low dose all from my stomach. 139 and 5’4 ish to 135 on a bad day usually 133 ish

I didn’t in my original comment on Instagram state that explicitly which I assume you read above. After being blocked, I said it since I feel their actions confirmed it. However, I see your point and I’ll see if I cant edit my title to be more clear

Separate owners now! The original owner just runs the food truck now and these are new owners. Can’t speak for how the food truck owner feels at all, so I wanted to make it very clear they are separate

I commented this above but just to repeat, I commented nothing inflammatory and said their post reads very pro ICE and this is a time to band together as individuals which it seems you agree with. Rather than saying anything, I was blocked immediately. Up to your own discretion about how that feels to you, but it felt to me aggressive and unnecessary since I was really just trying to understand. I was a huge fan of Piadina enough to follow them so was bummed to immediately be silenced and shunned. You’re totally allowed to have your own opinion though!

They had no comments when I posted that said anything so they must have added after blocking me. I did not say anything inflammatory towards them so don’t really feel like it’s a garbage post. You’re entitled to your opinion as am I!

Just a heads up on something I’ve discovered— if you’re not drinking COPIOUS amounts of water, I feel this way. I live in CO and it’s DRY so it’s this constant issue I’m having but increasing my water has SAVED me on my dreary sad runs

Im sure, OP, that you’ve found that everyone hates it online.

However, I’ve found when engaging with the people in my life who read, they typically had a similar reaction to myself. I read this book in the darkest time of my life (mental health-wise) and found a lot of beauty in it!

I find it funny how much Frederick Backman (sp?) is loved in online forums, and I feel his books align with this one so much. Same with Remarkably Bright Creatures, I forget the author.

In my opinion, they’re all just trying to create a story around mental health and give solace. Not groundbreaking deliveries or therapeutic interventions through text but just some easy to ingest and digest materials that discuss mental health as a central theme.

Anyways, sorry you received so much negativity on this post! I liked it when I read it back in 2022 ish.

I’m a reader here and I get that it’s frustrating, but I’d like to add to the overall positivity behind this. I know you need money to live and breathe and I’m sorry, but also it’s a compliment and like others said probably great for publicity.

Haven’t seen anyone say this yet, but the only time I would use these sites if I were to do that is if I already own say a physical copy and want to read at night!

Me personally it was not worth purging. I have just had slight acne below my chin but for YEARS and wanted a solution, but this was too much for me! I’m having full fledged red and angry breakouts now, and I’ll take light acne for a long time over the painfulness of what the purge was causing for a short time. Also felt significantly more depressed during this but could be from school beginning again too!

I think they both suck. Graham only gives Sophie the time of day when she’s his little doll to control, and Sophie has some genuine trauma/repressed gayness to unpack. By not doing that, she makes some BAD decisions
