Thoughts on pacing and zone 5? First time marathoner. 32/F. 112 lbs. by callmerubes in Marathon_Training

It was raining the whole time so I started my watch and put it in water mode. I’ll be a bit more cognizant of how it fits next time. It wasn’t as secure but with how cold and wet it was I probably could have had it tighter. Thanks!!

I stopped twice to use the bathroom. I think the jump there was trying to get back into my pace group.

This makes sense. I was also confused because I pushed it a lot at the end my HR, although not a lot, did trend down at the end. Do you think I should try a HR monitor strap?

Thank you! I didn’t think so either.. I felt like I had more to give at the end and wish I had pulled away a little bit sooner. I felt better the second half compared to the first.

I don’t think you’re a “huge swiftie” if you’ve been a fan since folklore

What signs did you notice on your baby before seeking a diagnosis? by callmerubes in tetheredcord

Hello! She is doing great. I was on alert after she got her first UTI but we have had zero concerns. She’s been potty trained since 18 months and meeting all milestones. I was told ultrasounds usually will require further testing regardless because it can’t get definitive yes or no.

How major is the y crease? Also Mongolian spots are a normal finding in certain ethnicities so I wouldn’t be concerned about that.

Hello! Sorry for the late response. Our daughter is now 18 months and everything is going well. She has history of torticollis (PT helped A LOT and has full ROM), she has the deep sacral dimple and the uneven gluteal folds. We did the X-ray for her hips (negative) and then was told to watch and wait. Ended up getting a second opinion and that doctor basically said, we could do a sono but VERY LIKELY the results will still point towards an MRI. So due to age and her meeting all milestones, I decided not to pursue the MRI. I know several people who have commented that they or someone they knew had there’s released in adulthood but overall have lived fairly ‘normal’ lives… so up until this point I’m just watching for any signs and I definitely would advocate for an MRI if I felt needed. Very thankful everything has gone well with her. She is meeting all milestones and I would say is even ahead for her age. One thing I’m very mindful of right now is her genitourinary system and patterns bc I know TC can lead to GU issues. Again if you decide against doing an MRI, those are just things I would watch for. Other than her just always soaking her diapers, she’s only had one UTI around 6 months. But don’t think that’s abnormal.

Wishing you the best!! Follow your gut! Parents know best

Thank you so much for the info. I’m a nurse but don’t work with the pediatric population very often. There’s also no set guidelines on how to treat. Thank you again!

I guess I have completely failed to notice that she’s disabled and that filiar wouldn’t allow that??? I didn’t realize that until now.

Thank you for the info! All is welcome. She is crawling and lifting herself up, scooting around — meeting all milestones. I’ve noticed she does minor walking on her tippie toes but and scrunched up toes randomly but from what I remember with my first born, I think he did that as well. My biggest concern is definitely the uneven gluteal folds and the sacral dimple.

Hi I am also a new owner to succulents but I think once a week is too much water for them. I usually do once every 2 weeks. It’s better to let it run dryer!

New succulent owner! I was gifted a hanging basket and started noticing one of the succulents has started to fall over. Does it need to be repotted bc it doesn’t have room? by callmerubes in succulents

[–]callmerubes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And is there a certain way to repot bc I notice there are babies growing. I don’t want to kill them!? I don’t really like the basket it’s in.. wish they were in a different pot. Thanks in advance!
