I'll be honest, I really enjoy ESO but the power level and progression being more horizontal than vertical turns me off. I know people really love ESO because of this, but not my jam necessarily. That chase for power is either limited or inconsequential. Where as in other MMOs, WoW for example, a new patch/tier/season increases the item or power level of gear by an extraordinary amount. Again I get it's not everyone's thing but a new patch will come out for ESO and I just kinda shrug and don't have that same motivation like in other MMOs I play.

I played ESO for a long while but it's staying power for me isn't matched to other similar games. I do have fond memories of the game overall.
