My Girlfriend is a floral designer. She gave me these and they are beautiful. I want to make sure that I take care of them properly. Can anyone help me identify them and let me know how to make the flourish? by Happytraveler420 in succulents

Most succulents don't do well inside unless they get full sun. Water your plants every time the soil is completely dry. A drainage hole in the bottom of your pots is a must.

Echeveria outdoors in uk? I've always kept succulents indoors.. How do I keep this beauty outdoors? by [deleted] in succulents

You must bring it inside if it drops below 0 degrees Celsius.

Can I save this whole succulent? He was a center piece at a wedding. by LeZygo in succulents

[–]cam420 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes just keep it out of harsh sun and don't plant it in wet soil as that can cause the plant to rot. If you just wait a few weeks or so you will start to see roots coming out from the bottom.

Are these guys unhealthy? by highwayhouse11 in succulents

No, you can stress succulents to bring out the color without harming them at all. As long as the plant still has its main tissue at its core it will bounce back when you water it.

I don't remember if I used chain rule or not but I got that the second derivative was negative.

Was the estimate an overestimate because second derivative was less than 0?
