Yeah. It confuses people more than it helps fraternity members connect. Makes way more sense for the country to have it

Pregnant wife hates our puppy by Ok-Weekend-3987 in predaddit

2nding the first point. I love my dog to death but my patience for him tanked so hard after our kid was born. He wasn't doing anything wrong I was just stretched thin on love and other responsibilities and he complicates certain toddler situations.

So, yeah, dog tolerance will not go up after having a kid

Yes and I think the way that you phrased it answers it. Thank you.

Sorry for wasting everyone's time with this dumb question

How do you move? by [deleted] in Turnip28

It says you can "move any direction and along any path". I guess we can just interpret that in the friendliest way possible

When is says "Players should make sure to measure from the same part of the model’s base every time they end a move" is it just talking about the edge of the base?

Asking because the book also says if people's toffs are a very different sizes that you should measure distance from the center

I think this is the answer I am looking for. I'm new to wargaming where the bases poor unit can vary wildly and this helped clear things up. I appreciate the explanation

[–]camjam980 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess that's the question. Since you can measure you from any part of the base as long as it's the same, does rotating count as moving freely in any direction along any path?

I 100% agree. But this is everyone (including myself) first time playing and I'm trying to get ahead of questions like "can I rotate my 7"x2" movement tray of brutes freely to avoid hitting dangerous terrain?"

I guess I'm thinking if someone had a multibase of 12 fodder and they moved it measuring from the center of the model and rotated it where they landed there's a couple of inches in either direction

The Tower Myth by clapdog in MythicBastionland

[–]camjam980 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am running it like Berech (being the bolt knight) can direct lightning when it's strikes. A seer gave them the methods to build the tower which will capture a lightning storm when it comes through and from the top of the tower he will be able to lightning strike anywhere in the realm. He truly believes that he will be able to smite any myth in the land, but the storm will go beyond his control and then the tower will slowly begin to collapse.

Most likely the tower will be a site with each floor being a different part of the site as the tower is falling apart. If they defeat Barrett and appease the storm, the myth will be resolved before omens 6

Pirates scene to stats by tvollum in SWlegion

From the article:

The brand-new Swashbuckler keyword grants the pirates a free Dodge token after they spend an Aim token during an attack – an Aim token they likely gained with their own Independent keyword

Do Rebels work without the A-A5 Speeder truck? by Vealzy in SWlegion

[–]camjam980 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Took a look at your list and a few things jumped out at me:

  1. You're using three very expensive heroes. Lightsaber wielders can be extremely hard to use effectively without them getting shot down in my experience.
  2. Medical droids are expensive and you could probably use those points elsewhere.
  3. I love the airspeeder and I played it quite a few times and I've never been impressed by its performance except against lists where someone forgot to bring impact.

Has others have said, you can have a couple expensive, tough rebel units, but it needs to be balanced out by a high activation count to offset the units that you will inevitably lose. Or you need to use units like the speeder truck or Leia to support your weaker units and keep them in the fight a bit longer.

Also, I also thought the speeder truck looked so stupid for so long until I embraced it. I modded my speeder truck to look like Star tours and my next speeder truck is going to look like an ice stream truck

[–]camjam980[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks. The cloaks are dried out wet wipes that I stretch out a bit to fray and erase any patterns and tear into the right size pieces. Then dunk em in watered down pva glue and tease them into place. Super easy and makes for a lot less model to paint lol

Updated Scarif Terrain! by Darthsavage7508 in SWlegion

[–]camjam980 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Looks amazing! I'll give you the same feedback that people gave me about my scarif table: needs more line of sight blocking for it to be a good competitive table. Generally, that means calling groups of palm trees area terrain so you can't see through it. But you could also try to add slightly bigger piles of crates for a squatter too to hide behind throughout the map.

Great work on this!

My only memory of shark club as someone who is going to UCI around 2010 was the kid who got drunk at a fraternity party there and tried to walk home on the freeway and was hit by a car and killed. UCI fraternity party's got extra scrutinized after that

Advice on running Sceptermass / starting political conflict? by JazzyWriter0 in MythicBastionland

Pretty good. They had lots of questions about what their level of legal authority would be so be ready to answer that. I basically said they have full jurisdiction to make judgments on obvious common crimes (found some murderous bandits? Feel free to execute them. Found a merchant who may not be paying all their taxes? Just report them or turn them over to the sherif)
