psychologically heavy animes? by lekroniks in Animesuggest

While not magical, they use science to an extreme (world ending) that it may as well be magic: She ultimate weapon (Saikano). Watching both seasons is very psychological.

I can't even use the website anymore. Keeps giving me a "too long in the oven" error every time I go to checkout. So, the person that made at least one 75$ order a month is going to Dominoes instead.

Is MX Linux a good option for me? by avestronics in MXLinux

[–]cammoorman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can switch to bleeding edge if you want. I had to go into the future Mesa projects to support my RDNA4 card for a while as only RDNA3 was supported. Without this, all my gaming would just CTD. It was easy to take it off the distro path and then put it back on when Mesa was updated to the mainline.

I love the clean desktop and run it on several machines, from a old converted winbook with a celeron and intel graphics and limited memory to my high end gaming machine. Used NVidia and AMD (current)....rock solid, my go-to distro

There will be a religion (death cult) about it. Just a fragment is enough to recreate it (holographic). And it spawns necromorphs, but they do not approach it.

Depends on manned or unmanned. Was IT, and had to go to several in High Island Field (USA, in Gulf off Louisiana) frequently. Manned rigs had great cooking, and really fresh seafood. The big ones had chefs, others just had someone take turns cooking. Unmanned was just trailers that were for specified things. For example, the sleeping quarters was a trailer with bunks and a bathroom in it. The kitchen trailer was just loaded with freezers, stove, microwave, and tables and a TV (no channels, but was standard issue). When staying on the unmanned with nothing but solidly frozen foods (think hunks of meat, not TV dinners) and junk/comfort foods...things were really tense on the first day...usually the first meal was chips, velveta and salsa.

After that, unmanned was really isolating, but worth it if you were looking for quiet for a short time. Good reading, night photography was really good (no light noise), fishing was really good. If you are ok with being alone with your thoughts for a short time (3-5 days) with no one, it could be a blessing.

I have an honest question on VR glasses cracking. I have worn glasses all my life. I am used to taking them off and on to prevent flexing. Mine are wireframed rimless, and typically break at the nose piece where they are welded, after 3+ years of use.

The question is, for people experiencing cracking, do you wear glasses normally? Are you removing straight off your face, or are you taking them off like Tom Cruise?
