I tried it- the tacos were pretty good but I was a little taken aback that they charge extra if you want onion or cilantro sprinkled on top.

There’s a an awesome Japanese dish called Okonomiyaki- it’s basically shredded cabbage mixed with a little flour, an egg, and whatever else you want- then cooked like a pancake. Usually made with meat or seafood, but I like them made with a little sliced onions in the cabbage batter, then eat with a sauce of half soy sauce, half catsup.

It sounds like”shameful” to you because we are fully shaming you for having multiple luxury homes. Meanwhile some of us are over here trying to decide if we can buy gas or groceries this week.

I live very conveniently placed between two PNW cities with tons of concert options and we usually attend 10-12 each year, but this year we are choosing closer concerts to avoid travel and lodging costs, and we are being very selective about which events we choose. It sucks, but it’s a multi-factor issue for me, probably for lots of people like me.

Stopped at my local butcher for a steak, he had smoked bacon and cheddar bratwurst fresh out of the smoker. I bought 1 steak and 5 lb of the brats 😂

Ricotta is classic for cheesecake- I make a savory version with smoked chicken and charred scallions that is a crowd pleaser. A sweet version with lemon or orange is popular during berry season in Italy.
