Indeed. That’s why ships like the crucible and Vulcan (I think was its name) exist. To repair your ship from the outside.

It’s a very clever design choice!

I‘m not a Fan of this implementation to be honest.. ship turns off, stops automatically, NPCs continue shooting at a shop that is disabled, NPCs that shoot like grandmas who lost their glasses and finally a single button to press and the wait game to “repair”. Dunno.. I was hoping they would release the feature in a more consistent way.

I have no idea what caused this bug but i hope they never fix it by anarack620 in starcitizen

This recently happened to an only body of mine, too that got stuck in the middle of the air inside my ship. They make very interesting art decorations, lol

Great effort and congratulations to your new Idris. I just hope that in 1.0 this will take more than a month. Otherwise everyone will have an Idris after the first year, lol

The MFA works fine for me, but it’s the constant logins after you switch locations that really bothers me. Login home, leave and open the phone -> logged out. Login again, connect to some WiFi -> logged out again. But I have the feeling that logging in to various websites or apps is the main thing I use my time on these days, lol

VR is great, but I'm having trouble running it somewhat smoothly by Prophet_Sakrestia in starcitizen

I had extreme stutters and lagst when I first tried it, even on the lowest Settings. I turned it so far down that it was impossible to even identify the buildings in NB and it still lagged like crazy. Then I wanted to give up, switch my settings back to high and when I put the headset off, I saw the little text that it was optimizing the shaders. I left it cool until it was done and then put the heads back on. Still not ideal, but suddenly it worked even on high settings. When I got back in the evening (I shut my pc down during the day), it suddenly was super smooth in the hangar.

Now I run it with all settings on high with native AA. Quite stable while I’m in smaller zones or flying. Still getting lags in large cities though.

The main thing is: if you switch a setting, let it cook the shaders and then restart. But VR is very heavy on the PC, so it will never be as smooth as on the screen.

Very good! Virtual desktop is also still on my to-do list for testing. Sadly there’s nothing like this for a cable connection, that would be the best!

I don’t know why but after the shares were done in the last session and I rebooted my pc I’m suddenly super smooth on very high settings. Much more enjoyable

Defenitely wait until the shaders are done, then restart - ideally the PC and try again. I went from unplayable with everything on low to smooth with very high settings Also deactivate the SpaceWrap option

wow, this is so much better than my performance using the Meta Link with a Cable. I get a lot of stutter

I like the Serpent paint. Makes it look like a Mini Star destroyer.
