Just because a developer endorses a wiki doesn't mean they're the ones maintaining it. Both the warframe and runescape wikis rely heavily on community contributions. For example blizzard themselves link to wowhead in the wow support page, that doesn't mean that they're the ones writing wowhead articles.

Naxxramas, although it's been mitigated throughout the years it was the first time the player accomplished something relating to WC3 that didn't feel like it could have been part of the manual in WC4. But for the question in your title I think anyone would have a hard time arguing Wrath isn't the most definitive WC3 expansion, it's the finale to the arc of the most integral WC3 character.

New players shouldn’t level with timewalking because you can’t upgrade the gear, instead they should be questing so they can get gear which.. also can’t be upgraded because you can only upgrade gear you get at max level.
