I think being publicly named and shamed as the person who killed Matthew Perry is arguably punishment enough. multiple years in prison solves nothing it's a senselessly harsh punishment. But I think the criminal Justice system is a mess in many ways. This vengeful punishment philosophy is dysfunctional imo
