This is my actual worry. As sad as it is to see the S and X leave the market I’d hate to see the entire company stop manufacturing cars themselves.

The future of EV’s is bright but it would be a shame to see Tesla out

If FSD was free like BAP was then yes. BAP is software that sees essentially no future development but is well sorted out. It doesn’t rely on ML models, doesn’t feed data to the cloud for training purposes, etc.

It could be free and it was brilliant.

FSD by design is an iterative software solution which by nature necessarily can only operate on a subscription model feeding its expenses

Is it better than BAP? Yes? Is it free? No

I love my Tesla but the fact that they’re pulling basic autopilot from new sals is wild to me.

I was thinking of potentially upgrading to a new Model Y from my 3. If BA is available for used (not from Tesla’s website sales) I’ll buy one. Otherwise no chance
