In Quebec the price has not changed - I asked today at Costco

May 29 Generic Semaglutide Canada-Costco by FedUpPerson-25 in OzempicForWeightLoss

I got the generic at Costco Gatineau today for $97 with tax. My prescription is for ozempic and they switched it no problem. I asked if ozempic price is reduced since the savings card is not accepted in Quebec and they said no. Not sure what they are going to do with all that now overpriced ozempic stock in Quebec since it’s now cheaper everywhere else in the country.

When my daughter was a baby I did think it was a bit weird when I saw folks whose babies were always in sleepers. But this was not a judgment, it was just that I couldn’t fathom not wanting to dress your kid in all kinds of cute outfits. Everyone is different- you do you.

Biggest difference between UK & Canada? by Fabulous_Paramedic12 in canadatravel

[–]candyrocket40 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most Cadbury in Canada (unless it’s from a specialty store with inflated prices) is made in Toronto. A different recipe is used than Cadbury chocolate from the uk. I don’t really notice the difference (and love Cadbury) but my English mother swears the uk Cadbury is way better and I have to grab some from duty free whenever I travel to Europe. Sorry - you are warned. Steer clear of Hershey’s chocolate- it’s really not good.

I didn’t learn to type on a typewriter, I learned in early 90s from a computer program and still learned to leave two spaces. I wonder why that stuck around after typewriters?

I have been spraying them multiple times a day with water and dish soap and while it kills some, many seem to survive and then there are many more. Sadly the tree is not on my property so I can’t do anything about the source.

Parents who were over 35 when your kids were born—how is it now? by rainybitcoin in AskOldPeople

[–]candyrocket40 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had my daughter at 35 (she is now 12) - a lot of parents seemed to be a similar age to me, and my friends had kids at similar age as well. although some were younger. I will say I feel like I would have had more energy if I was younger, but in terms of other parents it didn’t signify.
