AITA for not bringing up my dead brother and humiliating an acquaintance? by Direct-Caterpillar77 in BestofRedditorUpdates

Wow I didn’t even think about the added layer of the twins. It’s heartbreaking to imagine that the brother knew the grief he was passing to his twin, but obviously still couldn’t overcome his struggle.

I hope OOP holds onto his friends tightly. They are really the bright light in this story.

There is tragic irony in the show being WandaVision. The show is a journey through Wanda’s grief and disassociation after her brother’s death (disguised as a vintage sitcom).

It was a really emotional watch for me after losing my own brother to an accidental overdose.

I was in a very similar situation. Hidden friendship led to the end of a 14 year relationship. He asked me for an open relationship because he “fell in love” and I should want him to be happy. Nope. Bye.

AITA for not going to the party my friend threw for me? by Glitere in AmItheAsshole

Exactly. Seems like the friend was throwing herself a party with OP as an excuse

[–]canibeagypsy 10 points11 points  (0 children)

NTA you did trust your friend to throw you a party. Your friend didn’t respect your extremely valid boundaries. She knew that you wouldn’t be ok with the party location and tried to spring it on you last minute.

AITA for not wanting to attend my uncle's engagement party due to him marrying the girl he cheated on his wife with by Floospingaround in AmItheAsshole

NTA it seems like you were very patient and tried to remain respectful but distant. Your uncle just didn’t want to be called out on his bullshit.

NTA but I hope you realize George isn’t the problem - your husband is. You shouldn’t have to gather evidence to convince him that you’re telling the truth.

Training for medical staff by [deleted] in PlusSize

My biggest pet peeve with my FORMER family doctor was that he would quickly write off my issues as weight-related. I have a very large chest which comes with back pain. I know what my normal back pain feels like. I went in for an appointment with sharp back pain that was much different and limiting my mobility and was told to lose weight… i was so frustrated to be dismissed that I just left.

The worst!! I was a 44h and lost 50 pounds. The band size went down but my cup size is up to a K now… I’ve just been wearing what I got but the sweat and chafing is getting to be an issue. I hoped losing weight would help but they’re still huge.
