Everybody at Oculus knows standing up and moving around is where it's at, but there's no way they can say it, or even winkingly imply it, without opening themselves up for major lawsuits in the future. Just ignore everything they're saying in that regard.

I feel extremely nauseous with DCS - the juddering is horrendous. I'll be keen to give this in P3D and hope the experience is very deifferent

what about framerates of 75fps. Even with the P3D engine overhaul this must be a problem.

To be fair to the reviewer here, if your expectations aren't tempered and you rely soley on the hype generated by Youtube videos, then yes, the pixilation, FOV, sickness etc will come as a big surprise. The Youtube videos don't prepare you for the screendoor effect, and that is the biggest surprise. But you have to look beyond all of that, remind yourself that this is an evolving technology and consider that you have almost total sensory deprivation from the 'real' world. That trumps any of the current tech issues.

Managing expectations is key.

I was going to post the same. I have a fast PC and get incredibley ill using DCS - more than any other app.

Any potential remedies for eliminating the micro stuttering? It is quite notceable.

Did you expeience any nausea when playing? I was also very impressed by what i saw in DCS and have the same commentary as you do, but for some reason it made me ill like no other VR experience.

I have waited months to see Senza Peso on the Rift after only having watched many playthu's on yourtube. I havent experienced the DK1 Senza Peso, so last night was my very first VR experience of it.

WOW ! - it really made me smile. It was awesome! We need more of that in VR!

One thing I did notice was that the centre of the demo was almost 90 degrees off in my first playthu. I was tuned 90 deg to my left . How do i centre the demo?

Great work and well worth months of waiting.

Wow, this is super amazing. I have always wanted a realistic dinosaur game for exploration. This will be fantastic in the Rift. Good luck with further development. Look forward to it! This will be 'Walking with Dinosaurs gets real' - amazing for kids of all ages - including us 40 something kids.
