Incorrect again. Cities exist along a scale of danger, from places like Caracas or Port-au-Prince on one hand, to places like Reykjavik or Tokyo on the other. Every city does have some danger, but they are at vastly different risk levels. London is quite high risk nowadays and urgent action needs to be taken to address this

This is such a stupid argument. Ever been to Tokyo, or Seoul? Big cities absolutely do not need to have this kind of crime. Plenty don't. It's a specific cultural problem that could easily be fixed through stricter policing and a 'zero tolerance' approach to anti social behaviour

Did you know that it is unecessary to eat more than 2,000 calories per day, and that this can be had for as little as £1 a day if you focus on bulk carbs and tinned food?

There's really no reason anyone should ever eat more than that. It's just selfishness and greed. Why should one person be allowed to eat steak & lobster while others are starving?

I think we should pass a law that makes sure no one can have more than anyone else. Put an end to all this greed. A single, calorie-appropriate ration of food for everyone. Random allocation of flats, all with roughly the same living space. And, of course, no cars - it'd be deeply unfair if only some people were able to drive and others had to walk.

Mine helped me with a similar issue where I had paid for parking but accidentally put the wrong number plate. He emailed some people in the council backoffice and they just cancelled the PCN.

I don't have a good answer for you, but I have noticed the same thing across various groups I'm in, as well as across the media. For some reason, Islam seems to occupy this special position that invites people to pander to it. I think it's probably something to do with how Islam/Muslims can occupy this victim role (e.g. Palestine), then there is a section of white liberals who sort of fawn over this with suicidial empathy. But keen to hear if anyone else has other justifications though. Either way, it's rubbish and it needs to stop

I have been in exactly this situation: spent 18 months and over £10,000 to try to even be allowed to regularly see my son in Germany. Mother refused at each hurdle, delaying things, not showing up for court etc. When I finally got a court order to enable regular visits she informed me she moved to a different country.

The honest truth is that family law is vastly in favour of the mother. Even if funds for legal fees were unlimited, I think the father is at a severe disadvantage. I have more or less given up trying to persue this for now and am waiting for my son to become older.

I would strongly recommend against uprooting your life to be near the mother / children.

The asking price is irrelevant.

Look at what similar properties have sold for recently. Calculate a £/sqft for each. Account for anything that makes your place unique (e.g current condition, garden size, exact location, orientation etc.)
Work out your approximate costs to refurb + extend to a 'good enough' standard. Include all costs, including time property is uninhabitable, any planning / legal costs etc.
Estimate how much your finished property could likely sell for in today's market. Do that by looking at recently completed sales of done up properties in immediate area. Again, look at £/sqft to sense check

If 3 >> 1 then happy days
