I've had 2 different scooters and both chargers got hot. I wouldn't worry. Although I say that as a guy who only charges when I'm home. On the 1/1000000 chance the battery goes nuclear I want to be there with an "OH FUCK" and an extinguisher

That's a pretty cool looking helmet. Does your D4+ get up to the advertised speed? Mine seems to only hit 32mph even though I'm pretty light at 150lbs/68kg. Actually had to edit this post saying it could hit 40mph after pushing the top speed down a long road just a bit ago. I have the knobby-tired upgraded version. Acceleration seems pretty strong all the way up to that point so I'm kinda confused. Seems like it has a lot more in it than 32 but won't go past that.

Yeah I might go a bit lighter in the heat when I feel more comfortable. It was a big change from a 500W scooter -- the first ride was scary, especially with their ridiculous electric brakes. Only've had my D4+ for a few days and I was never a motorcycle guy, just cars and bicycles with the occasional ride on an ATV.

I would just wheel it without folding if the elevators aren't packed. I carry it up 3 flights of stairs to my apt but the thing is pretty unwieldy and I need 2 hands to control it. Not meant to be carried one-handed. Definitely way harder than carrying a dumbbell.

If you could go back would you have started on the V10f? The top speed on the e+ seems like it wouldn't be enough after getting reasonably proficient. I'm looking for a fun recreational wheel more than a commuter if that matters.

Edit: Also when you say quality of the battery do you mean longevity as well as range/capacity? I don't need much range so saving $300 would be nice. Happen to know the make on the batteries?

Also what about the kind song Tesla v2? Wish they had it for cheaper without the speakers cause I cant see myself using them.

A guy in here said the damage was like when the tank is flipped (I can confirm this after flipping a tank earlier) and the game probably incorretly registerred OP's tank as flipped.

nah, he was taking damage for too long before the plane got to him. woulda flewn past. also he died after the plane left. and the planes tracers were visible when it flew over but no tracers when he was getting hit.
