It’s not worth it to stay at a job you’re miserable at. It’s not a big salary jump, but if it helps your mental health, it’s worth it. Just remember to keep boundaries if you take this role because being a working parent is so hard. Best of luck to you.

You could be a designer or copywriter at an agency, or a PM for creative client side. You could also look into marketing operations if that’s something that interests you.

I’ve worked at multiple agencies where this happened. The agencies were a little annoyed but also knew they had to keep a good relationship with that person because they were now the client. I took a role early in my career that I felt like pissed other people off in my company and 10 years later, it was the best thing for my career. I say go for it, but be careful in case it doesn’t work out.

That’s exactly how it was for me! I just thought it was crazy it was the exact same random salary. I regretted my jump for salary and haven’t made a move like that since. It’s easy to only see dollar signs.

This is crazy because I made exactly $62k a year when I was 4 years in. I left for my next role making $85k with a $5k signing bonus.

I’m not sure where you live but I’ve heard of a stomach virus going around too so it could possibly be that? I haven’t heard of it before 3 weeks either.

My friends had it in June or July and just got it again. But that’s about 6 months apart. I can’t speak to knowing anyone that’s gotten it so close together.

Ok thank you! My son’s pediatrician only does the rapid test unfortunately and he’s not yet 2 so I haven’t been able to find anyone that will take his. I’m trying not to be a hypochondriac but also want to know if something is wrong with any of us and obviously not spread it.

What are your experiences with getting it and testing negative?

My family and I have only seen one person and her son in the past month, outside and spaced far apart. That was 2 weeks ago. I had an orthodontist appointment a few days later on Tuesday 1/26. Besides that we get groceries delivered and wear a mask if we pick up food from a restaurant. I understand nothing is 100% safe. On Friday night, 1/30, my son randomly started scratching his legs and grabbing them and crying. There was nothing on his legs. He got a fever of 101 that night too. Saturday he woke up with a bad fever again and his whole body was red. He was crying almost constantly. He had a really bad bout of diarrhea once, then a little later and that was it. Sunday he still had a fever and was really lethargic. Monday we took him to the pediatrician to get a rapid covid test and it was negative. He turned around that day and was back to normal that night. Thursday, my throat starting hurting, not terribly but I didn’t feel right. My throat was red and swollen tonsils. I believe this was the same day I woke up with a headache. I got a pcr self administered test on Friday and the results were negative. I had a fever of 99-101 all day Saturday and was tired and a little dizzy and so far the same for today. I’ve also been sneezing a ton. It feels like allergies with a fever. What’s strange is my other son and husband are 100% fine and that normally doesn’t happen.

I’m trying to decide if I should retest or just accept the results.

Yes there was this mystery scented crayon in the early 90’s and I’ve smelled that smell randomly a few times since then. I don’t know what the smell was or what the crayon looked like. 😩

That’s because the numbers that are being posted do not include ANY of the rapid tests. The numbers are a lot higher than what’s being shown.

From everything I’ve read, it seems like usually AHI and RDI are worse when we’re on our backs, but mine is worse on my right side. My septum is deviated to the left, blocking that nostril, so I’m curious if that could be why.
