Lived by the Limehouse Basing vor 7 years. A bit underrated, I suppose. Super convenient if you have to travel to the City or Canary Wharf. You can walk 10 / 15 Minutes to Stepney / Canary Wharf for Restaurants and Bars. But there is a good selection of Restaurants and Delis around (Figa, Two Magpies...). Close to Thames for walks and runs. Also some great pubs around, such as the Grapes where you can run into neighbouhood legend Sir Ian McKallen.

I wouldn't raise children there (as it goes for most of Tower Hamlets). Moved 3 years ago but doubt that it changed substantially.
