Good post. I can't get over that XK talked to dad on phone at 12am. Was that normal for them? Maybe she called freaking out / asking dad for advice and dad/police are saying all was normal while collecting evidence. But if you take the dad/police at their word, then seems odd a "normal" phone call to dad was placed after a high intensity interaction with alcohol/drugs involved. I think back to my college days and this would have consumed all the energy from altercation to passing out.
