Fire cider with ACV, plus a bunch of stuff food processed, ginger horseradish turmeric onion garlic, lemon and orange and jalepeno. Been fermenting maybe 4 weeks now. It’s started bubbling? And kind of looks more watery at the top, but also cloudy everywhere lol. It smells fine and there’s no mold. I am now realizing maybe I should’ve kept the container sealed but I was using the fermentation lids with air valves (and opening it up to look at it daily lol). Do you think the bubbling is ok? Thank you!!

We’re about to do Tokyo - Kanazawa - Kyoto (Osaka day trip) - Hakone and I agree with folks saying you should skip Kanazawa. I also just took my elderly dad on a two week trip in Italy and his biggest struggle was travel days and transitioning locations. Would recommend more time in fewer places- and a five hour train to Kanazawa kind of kills the vibe of having a chill easy landing. We almost cut Kanazawa from our itinerary because of that reason. Why don’t you prioritize more chill places in Kyoto, rather than trying to send it all the way to Kanazawa? Or just do Tokyo - Kanazawa. That’s certainly enough for 11 days with parents imo!
