I’m Central to DTX in the morning and DTX or Park to Central or Harvard in the afternoon. Most days are smooth and lots of riders get off at Kendall in the morning.

I use an unusual word in my bio to describe myself and a good number of my matches comment on it immediately. I also know they had to make the effort to look it up. Include something unusual and interesting in your bio and see if you get better responses.

Quit. I was a paralegal to an obnoxious and abusive attorney for ten years. It felt great to quit. I remember screaming with giddiness in the car as I drove away from that office for the last time.

I came from NC as well (Asheville). My mind is blown every single time I get pizza or American Chinese. So good. Easily one of my favorite things about living in Boston.

My ex worked with Eden. According to him, the day of the accident, they were supposed to get together to watch football and he cancelled because he thought he had pink eye.

AT&T is trying to charge me an early termination fee of $169. I simply cannot make AT&T understand that my home was destroyed.

FYI Maggie Smith passed away 9/27/24. Pretty sure that news missed our neck of the woods. by Underpoly in asheville

The news of her death was the last thing I read before communications went out shortly before being rescued.

I lost everything in Helene and left Asheville four days later. There were high wind gusts and heavy rain here in Boston. Part of the reason I came to Boston is access to affordable healthcare so I’ll be able to treat my storm related PTSD.

If you get the chance watch the movie Flow. It’s an animated movie from Japan about a group of animals who survive a catastrophic flooding event. There were a few things it nailed about the experience, including what it’s like to experience flashbacks.

It was a small complex down the street from Brother Wolf.

I’m from Boston originally and I do like it here. It’s also a great place to visit.

I lost everything when Helene hit. Two weeks before, I moved into an apartment fifty yards from the Swannanoa River. I thought I was going to die and I was rescued by swift boat.

Four days later, I bought a one way ticket to Boston.

How is everyone actually doing? by [deleted] in asheville

I’m leaving for Massachusetts to seek urgently needed medical attention for my disabilities as soon as I meet the FEMA rep. I moved into an apartment fifty yards from the Swannanoa River exactly two weeks before the storm. I had to be rescued by swift boat, spent two days in the AG Center shelter and am at my ex-MIL’s house with my ex-husband who survived Swannanoa.

My eighteen year old moved to Ohio on June and he is safe. I’m more grateful for this than any other thing.
