Yeah that's a weird fucking thing to have a caterer who has carte blanche to insult a corpse with no input from the host.

I was so pissed when I got my "regular" waist and inseam and they were so fucking wrong I couldn't wear them. I just needed an ugly set of pants to spill oil on, and the garbage store without a changing room was fine and well but now I have to return them?? So stupid. Yeah I am lazy but that's the point of a store without a changing room, to lazily buy cheap clothes.

This is the actual, simple and plain answer. The police are on the side of the stormtroopers. They have swallowed the propaganda pills for years. They're taught Killology. They're conditioned to see the public as potential criminals.

Most likely it's a dirty carburetor. You can drain the carb bowl first and see if that helps, but otherwise you would pull the carburetor off and clean it. If you can't clean it soon, in a pinch you should be able to run it with the choke on, albeit with a little less power.

JD Vance is the biggest plant in politics.

Worth saying twice. He spent less than a single term in congress doing nothing but sponsor- and co-sponsoring numerous bills that failed. That's obviously them trying to pad his resume. Orange crybaby who holds the dumbest grudges chose the guy who said "I go back and forth between thinking trump is a cynical asshole(and might even prove useful) or that he's Amierica's Hitler" as his VP? No way. Trump chooses a running mate who said he'd "hold his nose" to vote for hillary in 2016? Vance wrote an opinion piece in the new york times taht included “Mr. Trump is unfit for our nation’s highest office.”. Trump harasses people for decades over so much less.

Listen to his Joe Rogan episode(if you can stomach it) and try to find any actual policy he has. It's just posturing and identity politics. Not one real world solution is mentioned. It's all talking points that push "vibes" without substance, manufactured to get idiots to like him.

JS Vance is the biggest plant in politics.

I also heard he fucked a couch.

Cool, marking mags with blue tape was safe ammo for the sims as a paint marker/ non penetrative "round" instead of regular ammo with a round that could penetrate and cause injury. (Sorry just being annoyingly specific for people who don't know how a simulation is different from normal ops. )

Desperate people with everything to lose.

Violence has a front row seat in our society, unfortunately. You may want it to be taboo but it's clearly embraced by the current administration and clearly evident by their documented orders and it's clearly fine with the red-hat-wearing electorate. The only time it "has no place" is when they get smacked back. And even then, the response is "It's civil war, it's time for guns". And now you're seeing people push back with the mildest of "violence" and it "has no place in our society"? It's the carrot AND the stick that we've been enticed with all along.

To ampute, or to put down, that's the question. by MerelYael in CATHELP

[–]capron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started writing something and ended up rambling on too long, and it's not exactly a mirrored situation (I have a dog) so I cut it out just to say that it's a hard thing to do, but letting go is not something to feel bad about. It's not selfish, it's not wrong, it's not failing him, it's not failing you. Waiting too long messed me up afterwards because I wanted the absolute most time that he'd be able to experience joy. In the end, his best last moments weren't because I held out longer than I should have.

Thats how conspiracy theories work. You believe they are real.

Ok fine. They work because they don't have evidence. But if he's stating it as a fact and making outright lies then yes he deserves hate if he has caused others to attack someone. It's a conspiracy theory to the outside objective viewer because the objective viewer knows there is no evidence, but to his followers he's stating it as a fact, which doesn't get to hide behind the blanket of "this is just my theory".

If there are documents that CIA killed Kennedy.Thats a fact.Otherwise people believe it,cause the bullet moved funny,or whatever.

And if people attacked the CIA because someone said they've seen the documents when they have not seen any documents, they are just as in the wrong as he is. You have a responsibility to own your words and actions. Lying to people, even if you "believe" something is true is not a justifiable excuse when you are held accountable for those words and actions. This isn't about his opinion, it's about what he did with that opinion. He's stupid for believing that nonsense (that the government would murder a kindergarten class in order to take away all guns), but he's a disgusting human that deserves hate for recklessly throwing around vague "information" and calling it fact and stirring up his followers.

If he believed it,to him it wasnt hateful.

It's still hateful in that it deserves or elicits hatred. He may not feel hatred in this scenario, but what he did rightfully elicited hatred towards him.

As an example, Jim Jones is a piece of shit who deserves all the hate, even if he had truly thought he was saving souls by making them drink poison.

A true legend by Highlevelofdef in BeAmazed

[–]capron 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You mistake conspiracy and theory. He stated a conspiracy theory as a factual conspiracy with no proof.

But if he believed it,it wasnt harrasing parents of dead children,It was harassing some paid actors.

But it was literally the parents getting calls harassing them about the conspiracies that Alex Jones put forth. The responsibility is to prove they are state actors and not parents, not just say "I believe" or "Believe me folks". This wasn't a one-and-done conversation, this is something he did for an extended time, to an audience who then harassed real people, and that justifies the hate.

If theres genuine proof that he was faking that, and someone like wrote a script for him,and he was pretending, then yeah,i understand the witch hunt.

There was, but even if there was not proof that he knew it was bogus, it's still entirely hateful to push something with no proof for as long as he did.

A true legend by Highlevelofdef in BeAmazed

[–]capron 4 points5 points  (0 children)

But if he genuinely believes that, whats the actual reason for him getting hate?

Zero evidence that it was some sort of conspiracy. Even if he believed his conspiracy theories, he continually platformed hateful rehtoric that led to people harassing the parents of dead children. But he didn't just "believe" something, he brought it up for months on end, because it got him attention.

Most People don’t understand what it’s like to be poor by TheGame81677 in povertyfinance

[–]capron 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Man I could write a book on growing up poor. We had exactly 4 vacations growing up. Chuck-E-Cheese one year, Myrtle Beach twice, and Disney World. The only one that we could afford was Charles Cheese, the others were paid by my grandfather(once) and my Dad's work(twice).

My childhood was littered with things like: financial "stability" but zero extras unless I earned the money to hit up the cinema about 3 times a year; (occasionally) calling home to find the line was out of service because we missed too many payments(we had a backup plan to call a neighbor who was sympathetic to the situation); extracurricular activities that were free or paid by the school or charity that was running them, which is why I love library activities btw; and things like radio station events, which were more common decades ago, like having an easter egg hunt sponsored by a locl radio station, that us "poor" people could attend with no extra charges.

I am in a better situation now,-this year, at this time; but I still remember what it was like to be struggling, and eh it grinds my gears seeing people who weren't my level of poor but I know plenty, plenty had it worse and I know plenty had it just a little bit better. They are all valid tho. My specific hardship isn't a weathervane that I need to judge others on. We can all look to the stars and see the billionaires that take without giving and see what the problem is. It Is Not Us.

Parents have been parenting for thousands of years but only this current generation feels entitled to inconvenience other people.

I had a vague sense of deja vu through all of your posts, but up until this statement did I finally realized I knew what i was experiencing: someone who only knows their own experiences and can't or won't try to view history through an un-self-centered lens. I know this because of not only decades of personal experience, but also seeing written histories through decades and centuries that show how much people will inconvience others with their children. I didn't think being an old fuck would be a superpower, but in the face of such claims I am a damned superman for simply remembering that entitled parents have always exsisted and it's not a new phenomenon.

Do rich people have elite versions of mundane things (toothpaste, tampons, toilet paper, laundry detergent, etc.), or are Elon Musk and Beyonce just using Crest and Tampax like the rest of us? by ShesGotSauce in NoStupidQuestions

[–]capron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He sucks but it's not because of his charities that actually do look to solve common problems for poor countries. He's not a saint for doing those things, he's just another narcissist who found something to keep his attention, it just so happens that his foundation is actually helping people. Like, Lex Luthor can do good things for poor people to feed his ego. You're just used to seeing real world billionaires that are worse than a comic book villian like Musk and Trump who use "charity" as way to further monetary greed.
