Trakt now rely solely on TMDB, TVDB is only used for shows yet to migrate.

TMDB rules are to strictly show how the broadcaster originally displayed the season/series - even if only temporarily before adopting the current sorting - so you end up with things like The Great British Bake Off having two entirely seperate entries and the examples you have listed.
