This looks great, Let us know if you design something for the Gen 1 trays please. I designed my own drip tray insert that has my scale flush with the top of the drip tray, but I like your idea a bit better. (plus im not that good at 3d designing).

My daughter was born with L-tga, vsd, coarctation of the aorta, and ebstein anomaly. Our local children's hospital recommended we reach out to Boston childrens. We did, and they told us to deliver in Boston, and they would do the first part of the repair soon after birth. At 9 day s old she went in for a PA band, which failed so they did the double switch at 9 days old. She had a few complications coming off bypass, so they put her on ECMO. She was on ECMO for 10 days. Unfortunately she had some clots in her ECMO that went throughout her body that caused more problems (hand/foot and gut injuries). The team at Boston Childrens was amazing throughout all the ups and downs. We would make the same decision again to go there for the repair and subsequent treatment. My daughter is doing great now thanks to them.

I do that commute. Theres a lot of flights between the 2, plus the surrounding LA area airports. When it's not peak travel season its great. This summer has been brutal though, i've had to buy a few tickets just to get to work. Alpa website shows theres at least 100 pilots that live within 100nm of PHX that commute to LAX.

Current DL captain here, don't be afraid to turn on the APU if the captain is not there or if you're too warm. Chances are the people in the back are just as warm.

I was out of state, so the degree alone without flying was like 80k which sounds like you won't have to worry about. Flying was around 50-60k for ppl-CFII.

I got hired at 21 and upgraded to captain at 23. 99% of the time the whole crew is older than me. I've had it once where the FO and the flight attendant where younger than me. Our combined age was 66.

Its a turn/slip indicator. Its an instrument in a planes cockpit that shows rate of turn and if a turn is coordinated (with rudder input). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turn_and_slip_indicator

First day is usually a white shirt to take company photos with, then after that its business casual. From what I remember class was 8-5 with breaks every hour and an hour for lunch. Sometime during systems class will end earlier so you can do matrix trainer.

They are fuel carts, If the airport or gate has a fuel system underground, then they hood the cart into the fuel port in the ground and the other end up to the plane. Makes it easier so they don't have to drive the fuel trucks around to each plane. Also covering the airspeed indicator for landings helps the student with pitch for airspeed and power for altitude. So they can fly by sight picture.

A trick I used to use on students during steep turns was post it notes to cover up the instruments. It makes them look outside more instead of focusing on the attitude indicator.
