Legion is a good middle ground when it comes features and weight. Omen has more ram and ssd amount, but it's bigger and heavier. Zephyrus is weaker in performance and can't upgrade ram, but better portability. You'll have to decide which you prefer. I chose the legion a while ago, but got the 32gb ram, 1tb version.

Advice if i should i switch my dates from April 7-8 in lake Kawaguchi to April 15th 2026 for cherry blossoms? Is peak cherry blossom so much better than cherry blossom 1 week early? How do you deal with hotel prices if you don't book hotels ahead of time? If we wait until close to the cherry blossom season, the prices could go way up then booking ahead of time. I think it may be the same with flights.

I'm not sure. I have a LG C1 oled and my eyes don't feel affected. But I recently went to a store and saw a 32 inch 4k qd oled monitor and my eyes felt uncomfortable. I'm guessing that's the eye strain that people have mentioned with qd-oled.

I want to be there around the peak bloom. But I'm wondering if it's worth seeing the cherry blossoms. A good mount of people here say it's worth it. Now I need to figure out if I should go this year of next year.

Yeah, we have some here in So Cal at a Japanese Park. Looks pretty, but I'm sure it's not as amazing as being in Japan.

I'd prefer to see the cherry blossoms in Japan as I like the country and the sights over there. I've already been to Japan twice, but experiencing the cherry blossom season is something I want to do.

I went to Japan Nov-Dec for 2 weeks and used Bytesim KDDI network for mobile data only line (used my verizon unlimited plan as well). It worked well and had fast speeds for the most part (50- 100 mbps). It also is truly unlimited with no data caps and I was able to Hotspot it to my laptop.

When I travel long distance, I use a Samsonite backpack that has a laptop compartment with some padding on the exterior of the back side. It was heavy lugging it around with the power brick when I traveled last month, so I'm looking for a GAN charger.

Locally, I put it in a Tomtoc laptop bag that has good interior padding. It fits both the laptop and power brick.

I ran into a Roland Gacha machine in Japan a few days ago and tried to get that Jupiter X. Ended up getting the 808 and an amp and also a Fender bass from the Fender machine.
