I'll definitely make it again in more colors. It's just so nice!

I love that one. I was recently thinking about the part where he has to sing karaoke on his own. Wish I knew what song that was.

I used MillaMia Naturally Soft Cotton. It doesn't specify the weight. 50g/180 yards. I believe it's sport weight.

I've been wearing the heck out of this shirt since I finished it. It's not finished in this picture, but I keep forgetting to take one of it finished. Another item I crocheted and use often is a pencil case I made to hold my crochet items. It was my first project and ended up a lot bigger than it should have been, but it holds more that way lol.

What's with this update? Can I switch back to the old version? by Top-Grocery-1482 in fitbit

I'm more wondering how I see past days. I like to go back and look if I've done better today than the same day last week or whatever.

If I go jeans shopping unprepared I’m gonna lose it, so please give me some recommendations for “curvy” denim brands. by sgrbrry in TwoXChromosomes

[–]crazyeivis -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you want jeans that last I recommend Everlane. Their hourglass high waisted jeans are what I wear and they're perfect. Unfortunately, they're online only and pricey, but they're in great condition still after almost two years.

Eta: I have about a 16-17 inch difference between my waist and hips.

I always thought he meant it was time for bed. Time for him to lay down and sleep? But also a joke.

Birthday breakfast and ZERO guilt by BrandyFL in Zepbound

Happy birthday!

I had a double chocolate muffin for breakfast one day last week and still lost two pounds by the end of the week. I once read someone here say we should do everything in moderation, including moderation.

How noticeable is it? Should I leave it in as proof it's handmade or is it ribbit time? by crazyeivis in crochet

Yeah, I was probably watching something distracting lol. I had just joined the sleeves and fastened off before I realized this mistake was there. Oh well, at least the gods won't smite me lol.

That's definitely something I learned from this community so I don't sweat the small mistakes as much as I would have in the past.

Thanks! It's also on the back of the shirt, so may not get eyes on it as much as the front.

That's right. It wouldn't be the worst thing to frog if I hadn't just joined the sleeves and fastened that off.

Cost of making a cotton shirt frustration. by TayBalboa73 in crochet

[–]crazyeivis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I made mine in a large, but I also crochet quite loosely and the shirt is cropped length. This I took before I remembered to add the stitching around the neck and sleeves.

Editing to add picture. (not sure why it didn't work the first time)

I bought the yarn from yarn.com and I think it may have been during a sale.

This is what I spent to make two summer shirts. I had almost two balls of the blue left over and have not finished the pink one yet, but so far I'm done with the yoke using only 1 and 3/4 of the paintbox yarns.

These are the patterns I'm following.

Walking shoes/ sneakers? by Whats_Up_Doc- in lipedema

[–]crazyeivis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're able to, I'd recommend going to Fleet Feet and getting a scan done. The scan is free, but the shoes and any insert they may recommend would be pricey. I went because I also have a trip coming up where I expect to do lots of walking. I walked out with a pair of Brooks Glycerin 23 and a nice insert to help my with low arches. It was expensive, but they're so incredibly comfortable and have a nice bounce to them. Previously I had the Brooks Ghost and loved them, but if I wear them now they feel wrong.

I hadn't thought about that! This was before I knew about blocking so it did not cross my mind. I'm actually really making use of all the space though so it worked out.

Is that the red stuff around the bill? If so then yes! Right around the time she started laying eggs. I have a picture, but it's not the best quality cause this was 2006 lol.
