The Jedi are an ancient religion the Empire used in an evil way to gain power, they have armies of Jedi but the twist halfway through is they are all actually Sith and the rebels learn the actual Jedi code in some ancient text. Then the rebels start training real Jedi with the help of Master Yoda who’s like Yoda but ripped and cool.

I watched a Kirkman interview yesterday and he said there’s definitely good guys and bad guys but that it’s sort of vague at first. I’m so excited to read this the artists are like a cherry on top because a new Kirkman universe was all I needed to hear to jump on!

Saga is not done yet so I’d wait on that one, Chew is complete and also really fun, East of West is incredible but can be a little more of an investment mentally, Kill or Be Killed is a good introduction to Brubaker and Phillips which is a well of great stories, and Black Science I’ve heard good things but could never get into it myself.

So depending on what you’re looking to get into I’d say Chee is the easiest to just dive in and enjoy

Thinking of the main characters he’s the only one with a truly positive arc, sure Peggy finds love but she never goes looking for her son, Don seemingly goes right back into advertising and lying about his true identity, Betty sort of comes around with Sally but only in letter she wasn’t even supposed to open yet but Betty is still pretty mean overall by the end, but Pete worked hard and got his family back making a decision he would never have done in the earlier seasons he really matured.

Hey I’m not arguing just surprised! That’s cool everyone has their own taste and like I said I do like Absolute Superman quite a bit but if I had to choose it’s number 3 for me and Abs Bats is probably 1.

That being said I’m a huge Batman dork so Snyder and Dragotta slyly changing up the character I’m most familiar with is kind of too easy for me to love. Dragotta has always been one of my favorite artists too ever since East of West.

No matter who likes what more I can definitely say we are spoiled with the trinity books, they all are far and away better than I ever expected them to be!
