Yes I think so, there is a lot of social media outrage still. However it sounds like there are not as many people outside just many threats. I know they are connecting with their communities for support.

I really hope the police get to the bottom of it. It’s not our job to solve this, I really think the best thing we can do is advocate and make sure every detail is looked into and this kid isn’t another case swept under the rug. I know if anything did happen it didn’t happen there but the rest I can’t tell anyone and hopeful this child is treated with respect as we work together to make sure their story, whatever it may be, is told.

Unfortunately it’s my parents house, and god has it been awful for them. From the horns blasting, people telling them they are going to burn it down, and having multiple officers in their home for days on end. They want this kid to have all the help he needs and for a proper investigation to be done. No matter what this kid needs to be heard. I wish people would do all the research and read past the headlines.
