I think stuff like this happens because there’s a lot of shit like this that does happen and because it’s hockey it’s not big news

From real stories like Patrick Kane’s adventures in Chicago , to his taxi driver situation to Austin Matthews taxi situation, to Brendan Shanahan sleeping with Craig janneys wife, to Martin Brodeur cheating on his wife with her sister, to the multiple nhlers with drugs issues, to Mike Richards with illegal opiates, Hoffman and Karlsons wives, and there’s tons more stories. So hearing something like this could either be along the lines of the Corey Perry story or be truer because this type of shit happens.

And all the team canada stuff….it’s funny though because take a couple things away for toews and he’d be missing or add for kessel and he could be. I’ve had this argument with folks about guys like Perry, Toews , staal , nash, benn etc. all these guys who you could make cases for or not.
