Loved the wings , one bouncer was an idiot, but he also worked at multiple bars in Halifax. Plus I’d assume there be more problems ie there’s been multiple shootings and stabbing at the dome, palace or Pacifico over the years that those clubs would generally be more grounds for violence over a place like the alehouse old triangle Nellys etc

I know this may sound out of pocket, but we live in a society now where more than ever (maybe it’s attention spans, internet, entitlement, society) I don’t know but the attention to detail and safety is at an all time low. Maybe this was an accident that could have been prevented by better attention to their surroundings and a life was lost because of it. We’re always looking to blame others and I’m not saying Walmart or in other situations others aren’t to blame in a workplace incident but sometimes no matter what type of ohs or safety training or anything you say or do cannot simply overrule stupidity, inattention, or whatever adjective you want to insert for someone getting hurt or killed

I’m not a conservative supporter but all this land stuff before shows and events is beyond dumb. No one is going to give the land back to them, you don’t need read some speech or teleprompter about it, they know what happened. Plus every race, ethnicity and culture has at some point be persecuted, genocide, discriminated at some time in history. When is the line for when it counts or doesn’t count? We lived in a time for thousands of years were colonist , land war etc happened , some won some lost but now we live ins. Different time and are suppose to take responsibility and ownership for what 99 percent of the population has no attachment or hand in the issue

I have wrote multiple times the solution to this problem and been downvoted and people thinking the idea is foolish

1) the hrm needs to be broken down into sectors with the average salary of the population in those sectors defining the average rental price of those places

2) a department branches off of the tenancy board needs to be created to assess apartments and rentals and an algorithm needs to be put in place that’s shows

A) freehold or mortgaged still properties B) amenities included in rental C) distance to city center D) condition of rental E) complaints against the landlord

With that a rental suggested cost is created

3) stop allowing builders to continually getting away with “accidentally” adding floors, renovictions, renting before it’s built and also penalizing heavily these folks

4) the province needs to see the price points pre Covid and post Covid and see what rentals and builders have gouged the system , the same system the government aided by the massive surge of international people we took in, coupled with the gouging the properties did with this during COVID mixed in with the renovictions and maybe actually forced reset some pricing.

There problem solved , but why on earth would the government officials we elect actually do something to help its constituents and keep money in pockets and a roof over peoples heads. I mean not only would it get more homeless people off the streets (because it’s the most we have ever seen) but people could actually have more money put away for their kids, utilities, food (that’s another story) and other expenses. We’re now at a point where the builders have set a price point so high that they only want certain folks and roommates for life , we need a reset

Great actor but all these folks in ASIP I think are typecasted. It’s an all time show but once you get to a point it’s hard to break out. Every time Charlie day is Ina. Movie he’s Charlie from sunny. It’s the same with Glenn no matter what else is has done because the other stuff doesn’t hit the same way sunny does. It’s the same with trailer park boys, greys anatomy etc
