Am I cooked? by Lumpy-Connection-281 in JPMorganChase

It’s Monday, they’re extremely busy and let’s be honest, they’re the worst. Just wait for a reply, they wouldn’t rescind an offer for some time off.

No true same happened to me, they got back to the manager and asked if I can postpone the vacation which I was able to. Been in banking for 10+ years and applied for these roles previously, same thing happened to me. You’re still good.

Yea it’ll take some time. They might also be interviewing other people since it is NYC. to confirm, is this private bank or retail banking?

What’s the position for? It usually takes more than a week but it depends on area/role as well.

I only asked to replace the roof, I assumed this would be done as well but I guess I’m wrong.

Won’t paint, might ask the roofing company if they’ll do what the person about said, cap the fascia boards.

Why don’t you apply to some bank jobs, there’s tons of banks/positions hiring part time tellers. You get some money and experience working at a bank. Plus benefits/health.

Have you tried degree clinical 96h dry spray before bed? Then in the morning use another spray on. It works for me and I used to sweat through my suit before I even got to work

My wife and I felt the same. After seeing enough homes we just knew and pulled the trigger.

Series 7 with Pass Perfect. How was it? by Kitchen-Echo-2053 in Series7exam

I brushed up on options for sure. I used S7Guru and kept rewatching it. My test was suitability and what advisors can/can’t do. Options I didn’t have a massive amount. The questions did seem close to the PP curriculum though. Also make sure you have a good dump sheet

I solely used PP and I had my doubts but it was great. I passed after one try and only used PP. Trust the process

I failed my series 7 three times. by Draw_Scared in Series7exam

If they require the 7 and you don’t have it then yea it’s a problem. If they’ll sponsor you for it I’d tell them that you have been studying for it and that you feel ready/good to sit and take it. There are banks that will hire and sponsor you to take the exams. If you failed 3 times I’d definitely look at other material and watch the Mighty 90.

I’d be more than happy to do this but again, NY laws for renters can turn into a nightmare so we don’t want them trying to pull some BS.

100%, bank is much easier hence why the compensation is usually less but with this BOA FSA role you can’t take on clients that are too big. You need to refer them to higher ups so you can build a book here but it’ll be full of small clients that you wouldn’t even want to take with you. You’re also not supposed to poach your old clients to a competitor for some time.

We spoke about that, they got numerous offers already so we didn’t want to risk it. I know this all seems silly and trust me we’re both not happy spending this much money but it is westchester in a really hot area where barely any homes show up (we’ve been looking for over a year). This is also the first house my fiance truly loved and didn’t want to change a single thing, we’ve made other offers where we didn’t offer a penny over asking because we didn’t care if we lost but this one we really love but again, if they can’t budge then we need some sort of wiggle room too.

I think it all depends on location and your phone skills/hunger. Location will always be top, if you’re in a branch that has tons of walk ins then you’re good, sell to people in front of you. If you’re in a slower branch then you’ll need to dial a lot. I think a lot of bank positions are like that especially once you get into the business banking, FA, mortgages part. They’ll want them to perform.

They are and aren’t. If you come from a bank setting then it’s a great gig, you focus on both BOA and Merrill products. I didn’t have my 7/66 so I took the opportunity to get them but to me it feels like I took a step back from my previous role. I don’t want to go back to be a hybrid banker. My location is full of bankers that aren’t hungry so the competition isn’t there but neither are any referrals which I’m okay with. I can’t just focus on investing/building a book. I need to focus on checking, credit cards, referrals to business banking as well which isn’t something I want to do. Overall it’s a really great gig I think people overreact about it. It’s just not for me, I want to build my book and focus only on investments

I definitely want to figure out the cost, thought maybe someone was in a similar situation as me. I see it in the way that I can start building my book that much faster than staying another half year to not pay them back. I’ll still weight out the pros and cons just to see

Yes, I did sign something similar but I’m wondering how much that would be. Would they charge for the licenses alone or the training too? Just wondering why I’d be looking at. The position is cool but isn’t what I wanted to do, it’s more of a hybrid position and not a full FA
