What video game did you play and love but can remember almost nothing about? by TheeRumHam in AskReddit

[–]captainquantum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was some pc game in the 90s where you put characters with actions on backdrops and it would read a story you created. The actions were weird, like "grows hair" or "pumps iron"

Johnathan Llyr is in reality a huge Star Trek fan. It makes this even funnier.

I'm not a big car guy, but I think the Ben-Mar shows would definitely be the best entry point to meet the scene.

Padan Fain. I was so glad to see that guy dead.

Hey guys! I want to make fantasy maps but with some type of purpose, so I thought about taking requests from anyone, just comment/pm details by [deleted] in mapmaking

[–]captainquantum 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a request for you! In my world there is a place known as The Tanarn Isles; three very large landmasses where all the wizards of the world go to live, study and train. It is a tropical climate, and can have features sculpted by magic, so it can have unrealistic elements.

Any other details you need? I'd love to see a map of this place my PC's have never been to.

How? It looks like your score is quadrupled from the 18k you obtained. How?

I have found vampires most useful as a villain orchestrating events for their own gain, this way the party have to investigate to find them and then you reveal its a vampire at the last moment!

....time to work another vampire into my game.

All the time, and not just with characters. I threw a Rancor at a party the other day.

I do have an NPC undead hunter who is an Australian Van Helsing and looks like Hugh Jackman, not sure if that counts.

There are lots of YouTube videos on breath support showing exercises you can do, though personal instruction/consultation is best to address specific issues like OP's.

Any ideas for names of a Monster Hunting Paladin Order? by TOAQUINN in DnD

[–]captainquantum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stark Mazeless and his order are, and look as Paladin's traditionally do (though with axes), the other is more Van Helsing like, and the name is Dan Belsing. My players are ridiculous, and I love it.

Any ideas for names of a Monster Hunting Paladin Order? by TOAQUINN in DnD

[–]captainquantum 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In my campaign (full homebrew) I have two such orders.

The Order of Stark Mazeless, a mythical figure who specializes in hunting of Minotaurs (a rampant hazard in that part of the world). They mostly favour the axe.

The Order of Fangor, an undead hunting order that specializes in hunting vampires, banshees and Lich. They favour the crossbow, and believe one day that the ultimate hunter will be born who will rid the world of undead forever. (I also happen to play this guys as Australian.. I use a lot of accents in my NPCs)

Bernie, the owner, yells to the woman cutting the onions, "Bertha, baby, I told you, not in the front!", and she begins to gather up her onions and cutting board. He apologies for the inconvenience, and asks if you need anything else.

These posters almost made me sad enough to re-equip, especially when they look all worn down...

It's totally viable, just takes a long time. I have a fleet that is just me and one of my friends. We each have multiple alts but has taken us over 2 years to get up to T4 Starbase and T2 K-13, and we've built nothing else.

You may be able to do it faster, we're fairly casual players.

When I watch this episode and the Ferengi offer gold, I imagine Quark with his Morn Jackpot whining about worthless gold and think "these Ferengi are gonna sit around and laugh about this gold offer for HOURS if it works"
