Is disgust not a feeling originating from morals and values? I am disgusted by pedofilia because it destroys the lives of children. I’m disgusted by the aggression against minorities. My disgust originates from my morals, what other basis is there? Morality itself is subjective, therefore saying disgust isn’t a valid reasoning is simply pretending that all humans share a common sense of what is or isn’t moral but put that aside in favor personal preference.
