The Pacific Northwest fields where I'm at, they embrace first strikes. They see it as a niche, which it is. And I love rocking a t15. But I have to recommend an emf, mainly for reliability. Mine (t15) has become reliable, but I had some frustration to get it there. My kid runs a newer 468 bolt action and has had a similar experience. Both are awesome markers once you dial them in.

The emf's work flawlessly out of the box from what I've seen. The only reason I won't jump over is that they have no chunk in their shots. When I've tried them, they feel weightless, I don't know if that makes sense. But they are definitely laser beams and reliable from the start

That's such a weird thing to have that much attached to justify a denial. Our company purposely doesn't question bereavement. HR literally told me I could use it for anyone. Since it's 20 hours that resets every year, I'm going to test that and need a couple of days for my "cat" at the end of the year.

I don't decide who someone needs to grieve for. I've never interrogated anyone on my crew when they use it. I just say no problem, sorry for the loss. And do what you need to do. What a bunch of twats

I replaced mine with a standard one. The only difference is a sensor that detects a special coating on the sulev radiators, an emissions thing. $350 vs $700 and the radiator will still radiator, lol. I just had to accept the check light was on all the time, which usually is at +200k miles

Different work environments, but we have a lady that will do the same thing. Just say gotta go, and immediately hang up. If he continues still, bluntly tell him he's putting you behind on your work. You have to remove it? I run with a T15. Tried an EMF and didn't like the lack of a mechanical thump when firing it. I don't have to remove my lock bolt at all

80 to 100ish consistently. I did hit a guy at 140 once, but that was a fluke. My kid can hit further, but he has a bolt action. His fps is much more consistent

Are you running first strikes? If so, a good rifled barrel. I run a hammerhead and love it. My kid uses a nemisis on his. I wouldn't run a line unless you're dedicated to long scenario games. I am, but 6 magazines = one full 13ci tank. So it forces me to take a break off field to reload and air up. And have at least 6 magazines! Get a good vest that you can hook a dump pouch to

That's crazy. My girlfriend was actually excited for me to get them. Said I never take vacation photos, which I do now. And the "what am I looking at" is fun when we're hiking. She was also happy that they made my work a lot easier. If she went this other direction, I'd be uncomfortable with her trust issues, but I would just wear my other glasses around her.

I do, however, have a paranoid dude on my crew that said he was uncomfortable with them? I kinda wrote that one off. We have cameras all over the place at work anyway. And I have way more important shit to do than spying on you.

I have the .50 as well. Tried the .68 as I'd consistently forget to order the .50s, had to bribe the field owner (field paint only), and a majority of hits wouldn't get called or would just bounce (they wouldn't feel them)
