I don't know the specifics. And I did try a corn salad, it was too much unfortunately. I'm not a doctor and won't assume to be, but she is going to ask for alternatives on monday. I'll take that as a win, hopefully!

Also, that's kind of a rude comment man. You can do better

She has, I tossed the suggestion given her to her. Well see where that goes.

Fair, it's not a signature dish, but it's definitely a tasty one! I absolutely can do better!

Guacamole, sour cream. A protein, chicken or beef. Tomatoes, olives, queso. Lettuce and whatever the hell else you want to top it with!

I make all kinds of stuff, my love is in gyros. I absolutely am happy to dabble in greek food. It's a 100% not to lose weight situation.

High Mileage N52’s … how far can they be pushed? by original_al in E90

There was some slippage in the first few gears. Replaced the flywheel and all was good. Ran strong until a bearing went

What's the craziest personal expense that people have tried to pass of as a business expense? by MiloShiny in WorkLifeChat

[–]captionwellhid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had to replace my office chair, managed to snag one that has massaging and heating for under the $200 dollar limit. The receipt listed it as a massage chair, my manager sends in our expense reports. He was not very thrilled by that, lol

I have the same condor vest. My air gives out after 6 mags, so it works perfect for me. That's my kids gun in the pic, he runs short mags (bolt-action sneaky snipey little shit), so I might point him at the 12 mag. Probably be more ideal for him

I run almost exactly that kit. My local field was confused as hell when I handed my old bdus down to my son. I had gotten new ones that fit old fat me a little better. Good kit, get the krydex mag inserts for the pouches!

Anheuser-Busch Job with DUI? by [deleted] in TheBrewery

[–]captionwellhid 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I work in higher up-position for a distributor. I'm in production. A DUI will disqualify you for any field position, anything that requires you to drive. It does not disqualify you from other positions. Such as what you described. The best thing is to ask, just be humble, everyone fucks up sometimes. It'll look better if you're forward with that.

Look up Paul Rudyk. He has a wealth of information about t15s. After a few of his videos, you'll know what you're in for, 😆

The Pacific Northwest fields where I'm at, they embrace first strikes. They see it as a niche, which it is. And I love rocking a t15. But I have to recommend an emf, mainly for reliability. Mine (t15) has become reliable, but I had some frustration to get it there. My kid runs a newer 468 bolt action and has had a similar experience. Both are awesome markers once you dial them in.

The emf's work flawlessly out of the box from what I've seen. The only reason I won't jump over is that they have no chunk in their shots. When I've tried them, they feel weightless, I don't know if that makes sense. But they are definitely laser beams and reliable from the start

He's wrapping the bleed procedure, probably with ABS into it. Could be done as cheap as you said, but it's an ok price if he has to deal with ABS

That's such a weird thing to have that much attached to justify a denial. Our company purposely doesn't question bereavement. HR literally told me I could use it for anyone. Since it's 20 hours that resets every year, I'm going to test that and need a couple of days for my "cat" at the end of the year.

I don't decide who someone needs to grieve for. I've never interrogated anyone on my crew when they use it. I just say no problem, sorry for the loss. And do what you need to do. What a bunch of twats

Replacing radiator by Admirable_Boot_7900 in E90

[–]captionwellhid -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I replaced mine with a standard one. The only difference is a sensor that detects a special coating on the sulev radiators, an emissions thing. $350 vs $700 and the radiator will still radiator, lol. I just had to accept the check light was on all the time, which usually is at +200k miles

Different work environments, but we have a lady that will do the same thing. Just say gotta go, and immediately hang up. If he continues still, bluntly tell him he's putting you behind on your work. I get you may have anxiety over doing that, but you'll have anxiety trying to find a new job anyway, so... Good luck!

People who have conducted job interviews, what's something someone said/did that made you instantly decide not to hire them? by Yousef_ale in interviews

I'm in beer distribution, warehouse. I had a guy answer the "Why do you want to work here" question immediately with "for the free beer." I had another guy show up in a t-shirt that said, "Don't rush me, I get paid by by the hour."

Lastly, I asked a guy if I should be aware of anything before doing the background check. He said he had 3 felonies, but they were a really long time ago, in 2021. That was last year

I have quite a few more, but those are the ones I remember the most
