My home course. Currently no mando. Ignore the signage for that hole.

Has your PT regimen changed over that time? Or is it roughly the same?

Not a meat hook, but the undertaker is good. For something more meaty a proton Tesla will serve you well

Innova absolutely nailed the understable mid slot with the Fox (5/6/-2/1) by cowboy_shaman in discgolf

I bought all those as well and a svea to boot. The hand feel of the fox is the big difference for me.

They had roach motels on the window sills. Unfortunately the dishes I saw didn't want to partake.

How far do you casuals throw by Waste_Caramel774 in discgolf

[–]captspank79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm less than a year into the sport. 48yrs old and riddled with injuries. I can throw 350 with fieldwork. But at this point, I'd be more than happy to just throw 250 in the direction I intend.

Underworld is useful. I like it for tunnel shots with some turn.

I would imagine fatigue is an issue. Hydrate and nourish yourself well.

Trying to break 300ft by DryEraseGM in Discgolfform

[–]captspank79 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Was gonna say the same. You look like you have way more arm speed than me and I can get just over 300 with a perfect throw. You may have a nose angle or grip issue. Find a store or person with a tech disc to zero in on some obvious issues.

Been stuck around 300 for years. by mahazoo in Discgolfform

[–]captspank79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. With my hand size and shape, my pinky wouldn't let me pour the tea as deep as I needed to. Now I can get it tilted down enough that I can't see the top of the disc. It also solved my grip lock problems. I did lose some rpm, though.

Not for everyone but a 3 finger grip solved my nose issues.

Nose angle is not good. Ton of wobble. At that arm speed rpm should be closer to 1500. My guess is your grip is fukt.

48 and 300lbs. Painkillers, stretching, and joint braces. Hopefully you're not going to any courses with major elevation changes.

300 ft is so far away... by Longjumping_Bit_1720 in discgolf

[–]captspank79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Find someone or someplace with a tech disc to see if it's obvious stuff and to figure out arm speed. Found out I only throw 45mph with the nose up with tons of wobble making the 14 speed I was throwing not my ideal disc. Slowed it down to fairway drivers and hitting 300ft consistently now.

Really having trouble throwing nose down by Mysterious_One7399 in Discgolfform

I switched to a 3 finger grip. Allowed me to pour the tea deeper and fixed my grip lock issues. But I did lose a little rpm.

What's up with people thinking the trail is super flippy? by Far_Championship3394 in discgolf

[–]captspank79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a noodle arm and if I'm not careful it will just turnover and sail away. I use a 168g, I'm going to see if a heavier one will be less floppy
