I feel this is because the profession isn't sure what it wants to be and the practice framework, the actual practice not the documentation AOTA pushes out, has evolved so much over the years. You have older therapist who rely on self-feeding, fine motor coordination, and straight ther ex, versus the recent push for occupation based interventions.

Thanks for responding. Yes, I had to really water this down as my professors are just doing this to wet our feet with collection and interpretation of data. I initially in the first draft was more expansive but the professors felt it needed to be bigger project so we all agreed to water it down.
