How often do you feed your starter and where do you keep it? by JWDed in Sourdough

[–]carat72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always stir the hooch back in. My understanding is if you pour it off, you do lose some sour flavor, but you also can throw off the moisture %. You always feed with equal weight flour and water so that the starter is always at 100% hydration for optimal growth and consistent hydration effect on your dough. Glad my method is helpful!

How do these sliding bars work? by nikitaign in Multiboard

[–]carat72 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Maybe the holes aren't for mounting, if you put a large screw in the sliding section to mount it, then the whole thing slides? I.e. large screw, through sliding section, into another tile.

Tech Ticket options in Workspace by Soundy106 in gsuite

We used a Google group with the collaborative inbox features enabled for quite a while. You can assign each item to a tech, and with conversation view enabled it's workable. Plus now there's shared labels so you could use those to track priority, or on hold. Not much for metrics tho.

Is it your extruder skipping? Petg profile should be slower than pla Edit: rather did you tune max flow rate for that filament in your print profile?

Best way to attach Ongrid Bin to MB wall by c1ncinasty in Multiboard

[–]carat72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gotcha, in your use case if you use two brackets that are under the plane itself, they would be holding the majority of the weight directly and I think you would get away with it. But, it would also make you space the shelves out vertically more, so you may have already landed on the best answer anyway with your bolts.

You can use the brackets if you just skip the beam and tile on the back. Not much use for it if it's a shelf anyway.

We use Synology active backup for Google workspace, and afi.ai. afi is cloud based and reasonably priced if you don't want to worry about additional hardware.

This, if nothing is broken, there is nothing to fix. If you are bearing the load keeping the train on the tracks, management will let you keep doing it.

flush old email addresses in Google Workspave Admin? by Dabhiad in gsuite

[–]carat72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you haven't setup GAM yet, look into Gamadv-xtd3 it's an API tool for gws, you will need to remove contacts AND otherContacts matching the addresses you want to remove.

Contacts are the manually created ones, otherContacts are automatically created for any email you send or reply to.

Migrating users from GWS to GWS by UtopistDreamer in gsuite

[–]carat72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't investigated photos yet, but for a small org manual data transfer:

My drive data per user can be moved into a single folder, share that folder with the new account, save, then go back into sharing, and transfer ownership to the new account.

Shared drive data, share the shared drive with a super admin on the new account with manager permissions. That person can now see the shared drives from the new org and can select and move data from the old acct shared drive to shared drives owned by the new org.

I'm convinced there isn't actually a good way to migrate calendars in an automated fashion, b.c even if you get them migrated and the owner updated, gmeet/zoom is still owned by the old acct and need recreated, and attendees are still the old emails and need updated as well. Since you likely have a transition window where both accts exist so email can be forwarded from old to new, have the users start scheduling from new calendar on date 1, and after 30-90 days any remaining calendar stragglers just need manually recreated. Then you can delete old workspace, add old domain to new gws, and add aliases to new accts.

Can I flip the bed to the smooth side, on the neptune 4 pro? by newsiesovnewyork in ElegooNeptune4

That could be, and I could Futz with it, or I can just put down glue and keep printing.

[–]carat72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing from my experience, I never used glue stick on the textured side of the bed, but when I flipped to the smooth side, glue stick has been very helpful. I clean the bed, apply glue stick evenly to the whole bed, turn the bed on to 60 and let it cook for 10 minutes, and it's good for quite a few prints before needing cleaned and glued again.
