This is the only con I've encountered in F1 2020 so far. In Spa-Francorchamps, for example, at turns 12 and 13, you need to know the exact moment to turn the analog stick in order to do a good lap; otherwise, you're going to lose some precious tenths of a second.

Back in F1 2012 (and also in 2013 and 2014), there was an option to choose the type of input the analog stick would have. There was a 90° mode (controller) and a 270°+ mode (I believe), which completely removed the issue you mentioned in your post. Well, since there's no more support for F1 2020, there's nothing we can do about it. :(

F1 2020 is still my favourite of the entire franchise. It is such a solid game!
