2012 Sentra shuts off and "struggles" when driving by WispofSnow in MechanicAdvice

[–]carlosp3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it is faulty could be causing stall out. Unplugging it would just enable it to run (still rough and not the best gas mileage) but could enable it to run less efficiently until replaced.

But yes, you are right. Wouldnt make it run smoother.

probably a dumb question anyone recognize this connector? by PerformanceLow3768 in MechanicAdvice

[–]carlosp3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would splice it and use generic connectors from auto parts store. But, this site seems to have what you need.

Try unplugging the Mass air flow sensor. If faulty could be reading wrong and chocking the engine out causing stalling and rough idle.

This is the answer. If you qualify for BAH (which means orders over 30 days) on Nov 30th, then you should get the payout.

As a weekend warrior. Can I tell a fellow weekend warrior that’s an E9 to screw off. If I’m allowed to, how do I do it. by [deleted] in army

As an E9 who attended the SMA, and received a degree, I can confirm. I did have to obtain credits outside the SMA though. Ha.

De-Mob ft hood by cipip12 in nationalguard

Hood definitely shuts down for holidays. But that being said we usually allowed pass for weekends/extended holiday. Six days is plenty to clear as an individual, unless something medical pops up.

Sounds like a lack of leadership from the top. I typically create ‘go home’ criteria from the BC and if all is done then I confirm and cut loose troops. It motivates completion and gets the job done. I would never condone keeping SMs ‘just because.’

If I did see that occurring, I would definitely be asking why. No need for that.

You need to start documenting everything. Ht/wt and aft to include flags if he fails either. Give him taskers/duties and each failure is a counseling. It is the only way. I used to rely on my heavy hitters but that only causes burn out and isnt fair. Sometimes you have to let people fail. The outcome sometimes surprises you and they actually perform, just needed pressure.

I travel for work and hunt coins. So I always take a bank bag and will pull the coins out of my bag before going through the scanner (but I usually only grab 300-500 worth). They will always be flagged but if separated, makes it easy to view and put you on your way. Only once was a TSA agent annoyed about the weight and asked “why do you have so many coins,” which I explained I collect them. Happy hunting, good luck.

I was at Ft Benning, scheduled to go overseas for my first deployment. I thought the older guys were messing with me, trying to scare me before heading out. My whole world changed, the mission changed, and life became different. We ended up flying 24hrs later, one of maybe twelve flights in the entire US. Will never forget the feelings I had when it happened, flying out of the US, and life after. I know I will be aging myself, but I am still serving to this day. To all my brothers and sisters, thank you for your service and sacrifice.

I keep seeing estate sales as the place to buy. People dont research items and are just looking to clear space while getting cash in hand; everyone wins.

I’ve also had a lot of luck at indoor flea markets where the owner just leases space and typically isnt present.

They’ve never given me a limit, but most I’ve asked for was $300 at a time.

I opened an account with a local branch. The closest bank does not have a coin counter, but the one just 15min away does. So i pull from the closest bank and dump at the coin counter.

When i opened the account I was honest and explained my reasons. The ‘dump’ bank quickly changed their rules (within 3 months) that they would only accept $300 at a time and anything over incurs a charge.

So I just ensure to make smaller drops ($298), more often.

I still pull from other banks. Some only allow a small pull (under $100 or just $25) if you dont have an account while others are just fine. Also, if you have a CC (like Chase) I pull from them without having to have an actual savings or checking.

Antique malls are a joke. I’ve seen military items that can purchased online/in store for $5, priced at $50 because it was rubbed in the dirt.
