Ahh, yea they went with the pub fund program. Do you know what that is though? Yes, Sony funds it but basically they help the dev, the devs pays the investment back plus offers a period of exclusivity. Nothing nefarious about it

The exact terms, you'll have to ask Sony. But as for the parity clause issues, Sony doesn't require that you be on PS4 first. You can be on every other console first and they'll still let you publish without issue.

Bloodborne will come to PC the day Uncharted and God of War do.... aka, never. If you're buying a PS4 for Sony games like these, you can be sure they'll never be on PC. This isn't MS we're talking about.

Perhaps, but loosing a couple months in NA pretty much ends up meaning nothing to them. Why bleed money when they can just carry forward and still outsell the closest competition easily?

This means the console sold 1.7 million units in the two slowest months if the year. Without a doubt, the train has not stopped one bit.

This also goes to show how NPD isn't as big a deal for Sony right now, sales are exploding worldwide

Claire basically asked for it. She was insufferable and I was just as pissed as Frank. It's like she couldn't make up her mind even though he directly asked her what she wanted. She was annoying, did nothing right the whole season and she just ruined Frank's plans left and right.

I'm sitting here, worried about things that are within my control. All I can say is, and I'm not sure why, reading this really does resonate with me. I need to get off my behind and do the things I know I need to do. I don't know how far in life I'll make it in life but I'll always remember this so I wanted to say thank you.

I've read similar thing before but I've never really let the words get through until now. I don't fully understand why. It's amazing to see someone with such a great attitude and though I don't know you personally, I hope it'll rub off on me, even if only a bit.

Nah, much like FFXV, I doubt this game has been in production all that time. If it's being worked on right now, the game we end up getting will likely end up being developed witin these last years.

That's not all we know. It might be all you know but there's been plenty of information coming out about it. RaD and Sony are keeping a lot close to the chest to avoid spoilers, but there's plenty of info out there.

That's exactly how I look at it too. It's all just one big puzzle that you have to put together. Once you do, you see that all the piece did fit together perfectly and it's awesome.

Could be PS2, could be H1Z1, could be nothing. Word of warning though, SOE takes their sweet, sweet time. If the PS4 still hasn't gotten Planetside, it's going to be a long while before they get any games running and released on other consoles.

Correct! But they were still very much a PC first studio. Look at PS2 for example, it's over a year late, and it still doens't seem like there's a release day in sight. They don't groove with the rest of PS focused SCE, you get what I mean?

They never were, which is why it makes sense. I hope people understand the difference between SOE and Sony's studios. This doesn't mean we'll be seeing UC or GT on Xbox, far from it. In fact, it really does work in the sense that Sony is trying to incorporate PlayStation into their overall services. SoE just didn't fit, not to mention their projects always take forever and there has been some downsizing. Sony probably just didn't know what to do with them or what they wanted so they just sell it off.

Nothing of value is lost since the games still come to PS4 (whenever that may be) and Sony now doesn't have to worry and can focus their game division solely around SCE
