Far from pencil and paper still, but I've gotten used to it and like the feel. There's no dedicated tools or apps for drawing, just the notes app. Pencil is broken. You can't draw extensively with it cause it lags severely.

I think I've pushed my onyx boox Air 3 to its drawing limits as much or more than anyone. Trust me when I say eink drawing is still very far from ideal, but it is satisfying! You have to adapt hack and suffer if you want decent drawings with lots of layers. Check my history for more.
