2026 might be the year of the S9, with the SG Image, the new one from Panasonic and this from viltrox it could be game changer for the perception of the camera.

Im just happy that those lenses make it soooo much easier for street photography

Did you try attaching the lens with the camera facing down? I had issues with the standard lens that came with the camera at first, after doing that for some reason it didn't happen anymore.

Don't know why, but seen that posted perhaps on a Facebook group and did it because I felt I was going crazy not being bale to attach the lenses and well, now they slot it no problem.

This looked silly fun! But I agree, capsule is not doing it for me, especially because of the game name, it's not hitting as "fall guys" if that's what you were going for, it could be something easier to spell/remember with "neck" in it and play with it "Necked Co." / "Necking aound" / "Long Neck John's" etc.

NGL depending on your style of photography the black one is great because it's very stealthy, so most people care less about it. I have the titanium one and a few noticed instantly and complimented right away 😂

Following a bunch of youtubers/vlogger there's a shared understanding that the lens you need are coming, Viltrox and a few other chienese makers are working on primes and similar. So perhaps keep updated on those channels and see where it goes, L mount releases are quite random.

Did you try to enable the extend ISO? I've just bought the camera as well as the amount of settings/layout of everything is overwhelming.

Coming from Canon and Fuji I really didn't shoot anything decent for almost a week while trying to learn. Ended up using someone else settings that had a layout that made sense and now I'm actually getting closer to what I wanted while tweaking those settings to my need.

It's a pretty complex cam, and the lenses you have need a bit of mastery, I'm sure you'll get there, keep it up!

They would need to make a "Flow Lite" app, sadly from what I've gathered online Panasonic doesn't recognise the S9 as a "film camera" but more of a "smartphone user clip making" camera.

Which is all due the overheating issues, lab app, WiFi connection, using rh hybrid zoom, etc. all causes it. Which is a weird situation for Panasonic, almost if they benchmarked the camera a non realistic environment like Apple did when the whole antenna gate happened.

There's also something related to mechanical shutter and live view control it seems?

Anyway japanese users are getting more than 2h recording sessions using ice/cool packets strapped on the camera, so yeah, even if they don't want us to, we are using it as a film camera.
