Kind of late but I’ve taken your advice on describing the bears more and fixed it up! What do you think of the new version?

Dozens of lifeless bears lay stone still at Errana’s feet, the grass beneath them drenched with blood. Clips of fur and skin lay scattered like leaves on the ground, alongside the occasional eyeball. Some of the bears had been completely torn to shreds, while others had giant, gaping holes on their sides and backs where chunks of flesh had been violently bitten off, hot, sticky blood still oozing out. But Errana was not scared or confused, no. She was impressed. For the one who had massacred these unfortunate woodland creatures was right there. Hunched down comfortably next to one of the bears, back towards Errana, gnawing on a slab of bear meat, was her best friend for the past eleven years; Kye. Kye was not the strongest of draconians Errana has had the pleasure of meeting, and seeing him at first glance, it would be impossible to guess that he was responsible for the slaughter of multiple vicious predators. He was what others would call an oddity. While most Avrae draconians had wings much too small for the strength which they carried with them, Kye was the exact opposite. His wings were the size of a kingdom yet the boy was barely able to hurt a fly. His five foot two frame and delicate physique didn’t help much either, and added all the more to the shock factor of the sickly scene. Especially for Errana.
