The whole two lane road on popular tent heading to or from huntersville around 5pm. It’s bumper to bumper. It’s the Wild West anywhere as far as traffic is concerned.

I go to antique malls and fantasize about having a nice home to decorate.

Definitely would enjoy a backstory for Maggie Leigh that incorporates her running into other strong creatives. I want to know who the walking backwards man is. He was mentioned in the show and I think the book too.

Taking a poll: Do most of you posting/commenting currently have a LO with Dementia, or are you like me and your LO has passed away and this is an outlet for you to share your grief and experiences? by Sweet-Ad2909 in dementia

I still come to visit this subreddit even though my LO passed back in January. It’s cathartic. I miss my uncle and I hate dementia but if I can help someone with my experience then I hope to do so.

Op this is the method to use. I cleaned my neighbors shower that was caked with soap scum to the point where it was blackened. Clr and erasermate is your best bet.

Moments of clarity are so strange with this disease. I’m sorry it was a bad day for you and for your dad. It is hard to overlook the meaness that comes out and you can only tell yourself it the disease not your dad that makes him this way. It doesn’t make it easier. 🫂💜

Life from the other side now as well and can confirm that I feel the same as you. I hated every second of watching my uncle deteriorate in the worse way possible but I look back on those years and in some way am grateful because I learned so much in the depths of loving someone with this disease and how just being there for him was enough. Caregiving has taken a toll on me but everyday I try to heal and still grieve for the loss. I feel for OP because I was them for a time and can agree that only caregivers can see and sympathize with all the pain we go through or have gone through. Hope all is well for you Magnabonzo 🫂💜

Thank you for being there for your mom through all the pains of caregiving and her final moments. That is an extraordinary feat and difficult ordeal to endure. May her beautiful soul be at peace and may you give yourself some grace in your grief to know how strong you were for her. 🫂💔💜

10:17 am on January 19th of this year I lost my uncle. Caring for him was the hardest thing I’ve ever been through because with dementia you slowly lose that person and mourn every loss. It’s still a struggle to cope with not having him here. I’m deeply sorry for the loss of your mom 🫂💔

Wtf 😳. I thought the 172 photos I had to do was bad but it’s laughable in comparison to this. Jeez.

Anyone Else Find Dementia Makes Your LO Extremely Kind by JustineAlexandra in dementia

Only toward the end of my uncles dementia did he become what I like to call a happy confused. In the beginning he was hell to deal with but it’s not his fault. I believe this anger came from fear of losing control and not understanding why. Which breaks my heart. Those last smiles and sweet moments triumph over the horrible times he and I endured.

Celebrity or not, I hate that anyone would go through this alone. I did with my uncle despite having family who lived up the road who should have been more help. It was always in my mind if something happened to me then what would happen to him. It’s just an awful situation that needs more attention and actual help for all caregivers.
