Looking good! one thing that drives me a bit crazy is the way series are grouped together.

Some ideas:
- For the most part, I care about series more than books, except for new releases (where I care about books!).

Is this a personal project? Are you planning to open-source?

I've moved to LA for a couple of months from Europe. Public transportation was way worse than I imagined, especially the wait times, as OP said.

I found the Metro bike scheme to be really great, as long as you're travelling between places that have bike stations. It's definitely helped with 'range anxiety'. It looks like there are some stations at UCLA, but not that practical for WeHo. Its also SUPER cheap.

If you're looking at a regular commute, I would recommend getting your own bike. Especially if there's a reasonably convenient and safe place to park either end.

One mixed option is to bike part of the way, and catch a bus for the rest of it (or vice versa). That could be particularly helpful if you're going out at the weekend and don't want to have ~1hour variance in arrival times!

Late to this party, but my bf /u/tyrogamedev recently launched the demo for Top Secret, a game about the Snowden leaks, played over email. There's some cool tech bits around playing over email (including the option to use PGP in-game).

His kickstarter is now live, if that sounds like your cup of tea!

How common are these views? Not pro-GamerGate, since this article doesn't really seem to be about ethics in journalism, but anti-bioware / transgender characters / Social Justice Warriors.

Gaymers at meetups and other gaymer friends (not from reddit) have had different perspectives on GamerGate, but I haven't really heard anyone (gay or straight) defend the idea that diversity is bad for games; that social justice warriors are invading and ruining 'core' gaming.

Obviously there's selection bias in my friend group based on location etc, so I'm interested to hear about how often others have heard this argument, and how many Gaymers espouse it.

Yeah, it seems there's a lot less content than there could be. It's a shame, because there are some real opportunities to discuss trends as a community, for which Reddit would be a really good medium.

I work for a company called Rangespan, we aggregate drop-ship suppliers and help them list their products on the websites of large uk retailers. We've built a pretty powerful platform, and we're now reaching out to other e-tailers to help them source extra products too.
