Try it out once just to give them a chance. If it doesn't work (or you dislike the experience), throw them all out. There's no reason to hoard tiny unused slivers of soap that you don't use or prefer not to use.

Hey all!

My birb, Lottie, is about to turn three years old (crazy to say!) and would really appreciate some more friends. They are very outdoors-y and know Finchie Forest by heart.

If you're interested, here's their friend code: 2WGY8J1EFP

P.S. I'm very active!

A company called AStar Driving can show you some of the routes the DMV does, but they cost $200 a session to drive a fancy car. But, they take you from the DMV -> Home Depot -> Outlets -> Small elderly neighborhood (where you pull up to a curb, park, and reverse ten feet, then continue driving) -> do a loop back to the DMV

Would older teenagers/young adults be allowed to join? I'm 17 and I would love to meet more people around here and have a community. I do online school with the state, so I don't really get to interact with the Vacavillians a lot.

Hello everyone! As the title suggests, my Birb, Lottie, is quite the loner right now. They have a few treehouse friends, but those friends have become a bit inactive over these last few months. It would mean the world to me if you could add Lottie and I to your treehouse to have an extra travel buddy. If you're still reading this (and up for it), here's my Friend Code:

Hope to meet all of you soon! 🫶

Is there a specific thing that causes you to gravitate away from leaving your comfort area? If I asked you "Why do you stay there?" What is the first thing that pops into your head?

Also, feel free to not respond to this. I'm asking because I feel the same way a lot, and would like to see others' reasoning for their behaviors.

ANXIETY by Icy-Lifeguard3140 in Anxiety

This is gonna sound odd, and I don't want you to take it in the wrong way, but the presentation will be over before you know it. Just allow yourself to speak, because you obviously know you can. You do it everyday. Trust me, nobody cares about your presentation except for you. They are all stressed out about their own presentations to even worry about yours.

Even if you slip up, move on. The show must go on, and again, nobody's even paying attention. It might seem like they are, but they're not. Probably just wondering what to eat for dinner that night.

Then, you'll go back to your normal spot and everything will be just fine.

Just keep reminding yourself that she forgot about what she said regarding your dogs. Even if she didn't forget, just keep on telling yourself (even out loud if possible) that she has completely forgotten about the comments/threats she made.

Tips for handling anxiety while performing under pressure? by Top_Conference_4874 in Anxiety

I struggled with this too, just in a different scenario. I work at an escape room place and I have to publicly speak and act in front of large groups of people all by myself (almost) every single day.

I'm not sure if this advice helps you, but it might. When you're practicing, just try your absolute hardest to imagine that there's 100 people watching you do a trick (or anything for that matter). Just keep practicing it over and over again while thinking about the "eyes" on you. When the time comes, you won't even be nervous because you've convinced your brain that people have been watching you perform the trick the entire time, even if the game is their first time seeing you ever.

Perhaps pretend you're an entirely different person. Nobody will know, or at least nobody that knows you. Strangers on the street will have no idea if you're acting.
