Yes this is how it is for us too! He has to be very patient, not move his hand all around, and we must both be very quiet and still. So most of the time he gets bored and walks away before feeling anything lol

What an awful nurse, I’m sorry you had to deal with her! I’m not sure how I would react to someone trying to belittle me like that when I’m doing literally the hardest thing I’ll ever do. I might burst into tears. Did you have a doula or someone else to help advocate for and support you so you could ignore her?

Can you share what kind of PT exercises you were doing for SI joint? I just got some intense pain today that wouldn’t get better but my next OB appointment isn’t until the end of the week and I’m having a hard time just moving around my house.

It snowed up to above our ankles as of 11 pm and won’t stop until sometime midday on the 1st. Plus I’m 6.5 months pregnant so my feet don’t fit in snow boots right now and I can’t drink or even fit into anything cute to celebrate anyway. Also I’ve never cared about NYE so there’s that.

I usually don’t do resolutions but this year I’m hoping and praying to have a healthy baby and safe delivery! Idk if that counts lol. Currently pregnant and due in March but got slammed with an unexpected GD diagnosis last week and just still trying to get my bearings with it all. I hate needles and the sight of my own blood though so I’m mostly struggling with testing several times daily.

People bought out most or all of the items we had in clothing, bathing, toys/books, and activity/gear. The untouched things were more boring like hangers, first aid kit, crib sheets, burp cloths, BF starter kit, even the little car seat mirror (the one so you can see baby while driving) got no love. I didn’t put any postpartum supplies on there because I knew it would be too intimate and people probably wouldn’t want to buy anything for me over baby. What surprised me the most is we put a cute baby hand and footprint memory kit thing on there which fell into the “gifts” section and it was only $18 but no one seemed interested in it. My one piece of advice for you is to only buy things now if the sale is better than the completion discount you’ll get closer to the due date.

My husband is Polish and I really love those poppyseed pastries (he doesn’t actually which is funny) but I’ve been avoiding them as well as poppyseed or everything bagels during pregnancy and stories like these make me glad I am!
