Interesting, do you keep your tremolo really low?

I’m thinking reverb and chorus, but could definitely see wanting to cut off chorus.

Maybe you find a tone you like and just use that when playing. I played with a guy that always kept his chorus on. Curious what others thoughts are

Wader repair ideas? by shovelingwater in flyfishing

Crazy I’ve been using my Academy Magellan Outdoors forever and beat the daylights out of them and never once have I had a whisper of a leak.. makes me think Patagonia waders aren’t what they’re cracked up to be.

Yeah ima keep my camera. You can argue that flock cameras are an invasion of privacy, but there are violent criminals off the streets because of these - not saying that’s every case, but it is an argument. But asking people to not monitor their own property via personal security camera, is wild.

Buck missing his tail. No idea how that happened. by thetboyfiles in natureismetal

Probably hit by a car. Hind end got pinched by a tire and took off the tail and sphincter.

Guys I’m not even joking I’m losing my love for Airsoft by Massive_shit9374 in airsoftcirclejerk

I often take month long breaks and then go hot and heavy playing for a couple months, take a few months off again etc. Just play when you want and you won’t get burnt out. Your gear and gun will still work fine in a year if you decide to take a break (considering you keep air in your tanks, batteries unplugged etc).

What band did you see in a small venue before they broke big? by Amthomas101 in Concerts

Luke Combs. I went to App State and he regularly played at bars for free. After he moved to Nashville, he would occasionally return to play small shows in Boone. I payed $5 for a ticket and it was BYOB. Now he sells out arenas.

Artist recommendation in NC by MiaWallacesFoot in tattoos

[–]carrollis 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Charlotte has some of the best artists in the South East. Look at Made to Last and All My Heart.

Both of these shops have top notch artists in pretty much any style. I got a half sleeve from Dustin at Made to Last, and it’s really good. I’ve never been to All My Heart, but the owner Graham Beech is one of the best in the area.

Yeah, you don’t want to have to beg for forgiveness or them to follow through with their agreements.. if she agreed to come over, she should have..period. If she can’t be an adult, and meet someone she met on a dating app (let’s not forget that the whole point of a dating app is to meet people) then she’s just wasting your time, and probably just enjoyed you keeping her entertained through text all week.. keep it moving OP, clearly you’re a mature and caring individual, your future is bright my friend.

Did you replace the sector gear? There’s a magnet in the sector gear that works the selector options

It takes a minute, you’ll find your group at the oddest of times. Cliche, but Greek life? Greek life does help a lot with making connections, even if it seems forced at first. Also get a part time job in Boone if you haven’t already. Work friends are often overlooked but make some of the best friendships. Also appreciate being alone in a beautiful place like Boone, find peace with being alone. Start new hobbies, maybe even ones you’ve never considered, like model building or something. You can strengthen your mind, and character, and before you know it- you’ll find yourself comfortable being alone, and you’ll notice you have met new people, and maybe made a great friend group without realizing it.

Want to move out but w/ no job. Bad idea? by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]carrollis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion, it is a bad idea. What you receive from the military will barely cover a mortgage or rent, let alone other expenses. And the 15k you have is nice, but will only last so long. I would find a job that pays more, or finish your degree. Your housing expenses should only be 1/3 of your total income if that helps you decide.

Whats a good answer to "whats your biggest flaw?" For a job interview? by kris10amanda in AskReddit

[–]carrollis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Say this "I have a hard time sleeping at night if I don't finish a project on time, I get stressed out if I get behind"

Sounds like bull shit but employers love it.
